  1. I'm not going to make it today, have fun out there and be safe.
  2. NinjaDoc - I'll be leaving Uniontown around 10:30, which route will the Youngstown group be taking down to Bolivar? Slabbing it or backroads? I was going to just slab it down 77 to Bolivar but could try to link up with y'all.
  3. I almost had to work tomorrow but I have a co-worker coming over from Toledo to help out in Akron so I'm still on for tomorrow. Phew.
  4. Good report on the Viffer - love those bikes and wouldn't mind finding a nice one.
  5. At least they stay true to the spirit of the car and you know when you're looking at one going back to the 930's, 964's, 993's, 996's, and 997's.
  6. Ah, and here I was hoping to meet the hotness.
  7. Meh, I'll take the new '13 Porsche 911 turbo over that any day.
  8. The BRZ is what I'd love to have but I might wait until the turbo comes out. That gives me more time to save up the $$$ to pay cash. At under 3,000 lbs., RWD, and turbo (don't care for an STi version, just put flippin' turbo on it) it'll be as much if not more fun than my 951.
  9. ^ That is a sweet ride! Since we're talking about factory turbo 4's - here's an old school one from the 80's:
  10. Sweet bike, excellent choice - congrat's!
  11. Nice find. You should be able to find another wheel fairly cheap at VFRD.com or maybe even from the Hawk GT forum.
  12. Nice STi. If and when I decide to sell my 951, it'll be replaced with a Subie...boost only.
  13. There are plenty of us 40-something's riding the sport bikes, too - it's not an age thing but a mind-set thing, really. I prefer the sport bikes since it's what I learned to ride on back in '87 and V-Twins in particular since owning a Hawk and now a Duc.
  14. ^ 10-4, sorry for the misunderstanding! I'm kinda laid back with my riding style, just ask CSC. But, I did get on the Duc for really the first time this evening near the airport exit and all I'm gonna say is it'll plant you in the back of the seat mighty quick. The more I ride it, the more I fall in love with it.
  15. Per the OP ----> "Meet spot: Dairy queen bolivar right off 77 Time 11;30am April 7 of course"
  16. That has win written all over it...fingers crossed.
  17. Subscribed. I've been on 212 to 39 and back to Bolivar and was wondering what was south of the area - that looks like a fun ride.
  18. I'll no doubt be out riding on Easter Sunday if the weather is nice. Besides, churchianity is just a big social club with membership dues.
  19. I'm in as long as the weather pans out. I also got out for about an hour mid-afternoon after fixing the tach on my Duc - the ride was refreshing, like always.
  20. Now that might be what I'm looking for to go with my Duc - comfy, sporty, reliable.
  21. Well, so much for the flippin' weather report!!!
  22. Yep, you're right - it's tonight.
