  1. Yea, I think I would just pay the extra to avoid a day ruined by rain...
  2. Are all of those dates except the max time days open to beginner/novice riders?
  3. I didn't get to help that number at all Maybe I'll chip in for this year's tally...
  4. All that came with the AK? How much was it?
  5. I'm going to start doing track days this spring so I'm trying to find some decent used track gear. I need a 1-piece suit, guantlet gloves, back protector, and boots. I'm 5'10" and ~160lbs, usually wear a large glove, and 9-9.5 shoe size. Normal wear and tear is fine, as is light scuffing, but no patching. I would post this on Ohioriders, but I don't have enough posts yet. Lemme know what you've got...
  6. It's about $25 cheaper than market price for a 150 round can.
  7. Watching Enemy at the Gates either before or immediately after purchasing a Mosin is a federally mandated requirement.
  8. 1) Backflip the SJ 2) Don't wreck the bike too badly at track days 3) No babies
  9. Paint/turfing the RN, then standing around all summer...
  10. If they had a "Race Gas" I'd buy it...
  11. Thanks. I purchased street gear (jacket, gloves, helmet) as soon as I got the bike, now I'm just trying to find track dedicated gear. I'm also looking to purchase or trade for a pair of solid black 03-05 R6 wheels if anyone has a set. No brake discs/sprockets needed...
  12. I've been building cars for many years now and just recently picked up an '04 R6 back in August. This is my first bike and I've put about 2500 miles on it since I've bought it. The maintenance done by the previous owner was questionable at best, so the first mods have been an oil/coolant change, spark plugs, 520 chain with +1 rear sprocket, grips, Scotts steering damper, front/rear Continental Sport Attacks and an Olsen shorty. I've quickly gotten bored with going fast in a straight line but cornering is just so much more fun and dynamic than in a car. I would very much like to start doing track days starting this spring but I think most of my friends who ride will pussy out. Are there any people in the central Ohio area that tracks often and wouldn't mind me tagging along sometime? Is there a schedule for Mid-Ohio 2012 open track days yet? I'm also looking for new/used 1 piece leathers, guantlet gloves, boots, and a back protector if anyone has them for sale. I'm 5'10" and ~160...
  13. TT3D: Closer to the Edge is on Piratebay; I think the DVD/Blueray will be on Amazon soon. It's an F'n sweet movie... Wish they would release it in theaters.
  14. More like firewood. I'm all for it; better than just wasting that energy source and taking up valuable real estate. However, I still like my idea of starting a pig farm and feeding them dead people. Charge people to dispose of the bodies and then charge them again for all the delicious bacon. :masturboy:
  15. I thought it was pretty decent! Especially after watching Transformers 3 the other day...
  16. Lol, it's a 2002 that looks like pure ass! Exterior is very rough, I'm going to repaint/turf it over the winter. It's got a R&D drypipe, ADA girdled 180psi head, 24/7 hood, reinforced hull, ported, ported case, 13/17 prop, vforce reeds, AC pole, and some other bolton shit. It friggen rips! Too bad I can hardly ride it... I just ordered a 4/3 Oneill today along with some 3mm gloves. Already have some 3mm boots. Going to ride as long as I can!
  17. Picked up an RN Superjet yesterday and took it out today at Delaware. I don't think I'll ever be able to ride a couch again; it is so much more fun! The water was cold as hell, but I still want to take it out a few more times this year. Are there any good places in Columbus to buy wetsuits and such?
  18. Can anyone give me some recommendations on wheel powdercoaters? I need two motorcycle wheels powdercoated matte or flat black. Hoping to have it done in a day or two so I can get new tires put on them and have them back on the bike by the end of the week. Pricing would be very helpful too. Thanks!
