  1. I can do it if you are willing to bring it to Marion. I cannot do it today because I am out of gas and Valley is already closed, but I could do it anytime tomorrow on.
  2. Well that is certainly a very convincing and unbiased article...
  3. A friend and I will be going; if anyone else is let me know and maybe we can get a CR group together...
  4. Thanks for the tips, the only luck I have had so far has been through personal contacts.
  5. Mechanical/manufacturing engineering related... There was one that gave a presentation in one of my classes down in Cinci explaining how they operate; I figured there had to be a few decent ones in the Cbus area.
  6. Anyone know of any good ones? Preferably specializing in engineering/technical positions...
  7. Rotaries can also apparently make you travel back in time...
  8. Fuck all that shit, Research Alloys is the place you are looking for. It's a scrap yard/metal shop; they have all kinds of random drops and full pieces somewhat organized by shape and alloy. You can just walk through the place and see what they have; they will also cut or shear off pieces for a small fee. They just throw the stuff on a scale and the prices are VERY reasonable. I love going there, it's like a candy store for fabricators...
  9. It might just be the angle of the picture, but your turbo oil return line appears to be full of fail.
  10. There was only one riced the fuck out neon there? Damn, I would have thought more cars would have shown up...
  11. The gas they burn is carbon monoxide. I remember reading that it is very dirty and the carbon buildups in the motor have to be cleaned out at regular intervals.
  12. Does anyone have four NKG B10EGV spark plugs that I can purchase or know where I can get them tonight or tomorrow morning? I realllly need them ASAP. Thanks
  13. How the shit is that even possible.
  14. Damn! I'm sure steel toed boots would do very little in a situation like that...
  15. Thanks! Definitely hoping to get some damn track time this year. If you can't see the vid there are a couple pics in my album with the upper manifold on.
  16. That sucks! But just a question, why would you drive it 10 min home instead of immediately pulling over and inspecting for damage and getting it towed?
  17. A running rotary! After a year or so of work, it runs again. I'm going to try and leave it alone this time.
  18. I know how you feel, I just started my car for the for the first time on this build after designing and fabricating nearly every component on the engine. Fuckin amped!
  19. OMFG IN. Can we haz business cards?
  20. Thanks for the tip, there are a few job listings there that sound promising.
  21. This is probably going to be a long shot, but I don't think it could hurt to try. I will be graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a BSMET in 10 weeks and need to start looking for a permanent position. I am currently employed in a full time Co-op position here in Cinci that will likely offer me a job upon graduation, but I would prefer to find a position in Columbus or central Ohio. Relevant experience includes 2.5 years working in the Mfg.Eng./Tooling shop of a medium size factory and 9 months as a die maintenance technician. Skills include: TIG welding (SS, Aluminum, tool steels, cast iron, CRS, and others) Manual & CNC machining (mostly conversational) Machining/Assembly/Test fixture design & fabrication Parametric modeling & CAD (mostly SolidWorks & AutoCAD, also some Inventor and UGS) Continuous Improvement & Six Sigma projects (Green belt certification through UC) Among others... I also design and fabricate nearly all of the parts for my car including intake/exhaust manifolds, exhausts, throttle bodies, fuel systems, mounts, etc. My senior project is also automotive related. If anyone knows of any companies looking for a very ambitious and motivated fresh graduate with these skills, please let me know! Starting salary would have to be at least $45k+ a year. Thanks
  22. Did that happen in the Speeds parking lot?
  23. Grainger, if you have access to an account. They have... everything.
