Did you put your's on or was it on when you got it? I seen some using lock bolts every 4th hole, and then screws in the center of the bolts. Like a pattern of, bolt-skip-screw-skip-bolt-repeat! That may be over kill, but Idk. Is your's ran the entire length of trailer? I was thinking the kit with (6) 5ft pieces and put 3 on each side, spaced 6" in between. This was the cheapest I've found the stuff. A lot of places are $4.00 a foot, even Harbor freight is $3.40 a foot, and there's shows 1/10? deep? And review says not deep enough to except e-track fasteners! And there e-track rings were $3.99 each! http://www.harborfreight.com/5-ft-horizontal-e-track-66726.html http://www.harborfreight.com/e-track-ring-66728.html

Good idea, I'm religious on backing up my picture, movie and document files. I will have to add in the music. I always figured you could get the music back one way, but not the above 3 mentioned files types. But why put your self through that, I will be adding music for sure, next back up. I do run a full windows backup/crap software once a week to my second internal h/drive. I like the Syncback software to the external backup drive, I run manually.

Just got a new 76"x16' trailer, and it looks like it may not be as tie down friendly as my last one. Was looking into the E-Track stuff, wanting thoughts and opinions on these 2 items. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271171024521?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Heavy-Duty-E-Track-Spring-Fitting-w-2-5-O-Rings-Enclosed-Trailers-/281080428024?_trksid=p2046732.m2060&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D6804659170382360096%26pid%3D100040%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D4%26sd%3D271171024521%26

And then there's the whole 5th wheel thing.

you sold your big trailer! What did you get out of if? I just bought another open trailer, sold the 5x14 and picked up a 76"x16'. It is a beast compared to the smaller one. 1300 lbs empty, other was 800 lbs.

You don't need the atv plate, but you would still need the trail permit, for places like Wayne National Forest. But If you have state plate that's all you need to go to Perry, and places like that.

Thanks! I enjoy the riding, and then the week after editing the video's. Glad to see a few are watching and enjoying them. Here's my part 2 of my first ride of 2013. Most of this is of the 2nd day, riding solo using the GoPro chest harness. 1st 2 scenes my GoPro battery was dying, but I wanted to share the peek at the 2013 Can-Am Maverick we rode with. And if you guys don't have time to watch it all, at least check out the tree slalom around the 4 min. mark, it looks like it's in fast forward but it is not. Also check out the rock hill climb at 6:50 mark. But I'd watch it all, and it features 3 songs by Toby Keith, from his cd Bullets in the gun. There's even a little nature scene around 4mins, enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlmVpIrzvuY

Who, this just show's how much dirt you will need to build a track. Cause I see a few jumps, no big table tops & a decent size pond!

Wayne is the only one that requires the additional trail pass. You can just have bike register'd and ride at Perry, Pike, Richland Furnace, and I think there's one more up north by lake Erie but idt. As far as I do know the pass for Wayne national forest is good for all there areas. So if you buy a yearly pass at, say Nelsonville & ride there a few times. Then hit up Hanging Rock your same yearly pass is good there as well. But yes you still need bike/quad/rzr state register'd.

Pine Creek and Hanging Rock OHV trail systems
M_Quick replied to max power's topic in Play in the Dirt
Been to the Hanging rock area, once. IMO no don't drive that much farther. It is a real nice park, but a lot smaller than Nelsonville. The sport quad loves it thou, I drove the whole park area around 2 hrs, lots of nice jumps. Trails are a lot better maintained and marked a lot better as well. I drive right by there on my way to WV. And only stopped once, from there it's only like 60 more miles to Grandma's...Here's a link to a video a guy I know live's in Ky and he used to ride there a lot till he sold his quad. Oh yea and the only trail head for Hanging rock has like 7 parking spots! There are other off road areas to park if you can find them...Elevation changes, maybe but nothing difficult here at all, that is if you stay on the marked trails. I left once for the hill climb off the power line trail. That said would be a great place to take beginner riders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66M1Tw9rEWc -
I ride the so called outlaw trails all the time. There free and no hour restrictions, or any other type of rules. About 30 miles north of Buffalo Mountain. I have never been on the $50 trails, but here they are nice, and you cant get lost. Everything is well marked, and they give you a trail map. Some rider's I know are going there 4/11 to 4/15. If they ride Buffalo Mountain area on sat or sun I may join them.

Here's some highlights I put together, and a few still shots I took with the GoPro, and maybe a cell phone picture or two as well. We ran into a 23 yr old guy with a 2013 Can-Am Maverick SXS. And my battery died on the go pro! We rode with him for a couple hours, real nice guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsxSsrwuyOE

Hard to tell from video and picture, but looked like I would of tried to the high side, or left side of tree. And then cut back down to trail. You either make it or slide back down to trail. At least you made it through and had the tools and know how to get it down.
