I figured it'd mainly be at hardware stores, but Lowes and Home Depot were the only two that popped into my head. Ace Hardware maybe? The Lowes I go to is in Chillicothe and they only have black. If I can't find red then white would be fine.

I'm planning on heading to Columbus this afternoon for a trip to Iron Pony and some other stops, and figured I'd try to get some different colors of Plastidip while I was up there. I'm looking for red, possibly white or camo green. I've bought it at Lowes before, but all they had was black. Home Depots website lists red and white, but only in a 6 pack for $46. Anybody know of a store that would have the different colors in stock in a single can?

Yes. You'd be surprised at the variety of stuff that shows up there. 300+ cars on average and there's anything from stock Model A's to LSx powered dune buggies. My friends and I have talked to Lee a few times. Very cool guy who knows his stuff and enjoys it. I think we all realize there's a very slim chance that the car will bring even half of his asking price, but I will say the car is immaculate and show worthy.

Is this owned by an older guy? I believe I've seen it a few times at a cruise-in in Wheelersburg. If so, it's amazingly clean and sounds nasty.

I built a ton as a kid, then started to get back into them in my late teens/early 20s but never finished those ones. I think about getting them out of the crawl space every once in a while and finishing them up but never actually do it lol. Any time my wife drags me into a hobby store I check them out, but the prices are crazy! Last time I bought one new they were $8-12, now they're $20+. The real kicker is most of them are just reissued kits that can probably be found on eBay for $10 for the original.
