  1. +1 the comments in the article are the funniest part.
  2. Glad you got some miles in, and made it home dry and without trading any chrome and paint.
  3. Have you read any of David Hough's books? Proficient Motorcycling and More Proficient Motorcycling. Just reading the first one I've discovered both bad and good habits and techniques I need to work on.
  4. I picked up a copy of motorcyclist magazine looking for the coupon and liked it so much I subscribed. Damn, they got me! I haven't subscribed to a paper magazine in years.
  5. Traveled across the ocean in a truck box. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ccc_1335772866
  6. Yep. http://m152.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/jfvb1225/handlebars/1975RD250.jpg.html
  7. Mine is a 250, same thing. It was my stepfather's. I need to pony up and get a new fuel tank for it as it's past the point of no return.
  8. I hear ya, it usually an issue of time not because I don't want to ride more.
  9. Yep, Girard and I get most of my riding in on weekdays if anyone is available during that time. I like to get in at least 50-100 whenever I can.
  10. That's a great nickname.

Me like! Hoping to go to Sturgis this year.
  12. SBK was very good except all the bikes dropping in the rain. I don't have speed network so had to watch elsewhere. I'm hoping the AMA ATLANTA shows up on the torrents so I can see those.
  13. This might be the saddest and at the same time funniest thread I have ever read. Condolences to the OP, and these guys are right true friends are there when you need them and bitches be crazy.
  14. That's quite a testimonial, glad you've recovered.
  15. Unless your warranty requires premium fuel you're also wasting money on it over regular. Reason being premium fuel stays in the stations tanks longer and loses octane over time. And, if you can run regular in your engine without knocking, premium fuel has no advantage even if it were fresh. http://www.consumerenergycenter.org/transportation/consumer_tips/regular_vs_premium.html http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=fact-or-fiction-premium-g
  16. Thanks, in the warm weather I wear shorts under leather chaps so it's cooler to walk around at bike rallies etc. I'm considering convertible pants as another option instead of jeans.
  17. There's a thread regarding riding pants. I'm interested in convertible textile pants but I'm not sure how they'd hold up in a slide vs. Leather chaps. I like these in black. http://ridersdiscount.com/street-gear/pants-men/102972.php
  18. I've been with them since 2001. The coverage is still marginal at best in rural areas. Most urban areas and cities I've visited recently seem to be fairly consistent 4g (which is really hspa+ and not true 4g). It's still quite good when it's there. Hopefully some of the cash they got from the failed deal will go to further building out.
  19. T-Mobile is attempting to change and enhance their image since they aren't getting an i-phone or bought up by At&t. I'd say they're on the right track. linky
  20. I've used it in my four stroke four Wheeler before. Slight increase in power and a different exhaust smell. That's about it.
