He didn't get that far yet, he didn't know Shane died till now lol since he dies at the end of season 2.
-
Thanks alot, somehow I must of overlooked it. Now I can finally be caught up with everyone
-
I'm not a fan of Shane or dale or the baldish chick or the stupid blonde chick who wants to be like one of the men. My favorite people are the redneck and Glenn the Asian.

I just got finished watching season 2 of the walking dead. Is there a way to watch season 3 online? I couldn't find a way to watch episodes on time Warner and the only one I got on my DVR is the one from last night, but I don't want to watch it out of order. I didn't see any older episodes playing on AMC so I could record them.

Wouldn't a shop be able to determine that?
-
Ya, the previous owner layed it down and then repainted it. The current owner dropped it. I figure a lil fiberglass patch, bondo? And some lime green paint will do the trick over the winter. As long as its mechanically fine the fairing should be ok still after some repair? I've done some body work on cars before so I figure it shouldn't be much different on a bike? I don't think it's too too bad, but what do y'all think?

I wasn't trying to fight, the last thing I need to do is go to jail. I got kids and a job to worry about, I'm sure if I stayed at speedway any longer instead of leaving there would have been a fight . Even when the kid(he looked about 20) got in my face I didn't show any signs of wanting to fight him. I was just pissed off at the time and wanted to vent some. People just need to pay attention to the road before they kill/injury someone.

So today I leave work to go to my dads house instead of home so I can wash my bike for this possible upcoming trade I'm making Saturday. I work in Kettering so I leave my job and hop on 75 north as usual. It looked like there was a wreck or something at the 35 on ramp and I think to myself im glad I'm taking 70 today because I'd be sitting in this traffic forever. So I go past my normal exit and get almost to i70 and I notice this truck next to me and I think to myself hmm I'm in the middle lane, I have a car behind me, a car infront of me a SUV besides me(left lane) and this big semi to my right. This can't be good... I'm smart enough to atleast ride in his non blind spot(so I thought) because I can see his face in the mirror. I kind of focused on the semi and though to myself I really hope this asshole doesn't try to come in my lane because the car infront of me is far enough up and the car behind me is far enough back so he would have enough room to squeeze in. next thing I know he turns on his turn signals and grazes the white line, he looks in his mirror, turns off his turn signal and gets off the white line. I was like whew i.was ready to lay on my horn(thumb was touching the horn). So I thought cool he sees me and just as I was getting ready to take my thumb off the horn(his turn signals are still off) this fucker cuts into my lane and I start pressing the horn like a mad man. The guy in the left lane saw this.and hit his.breaks.so.I would have room to get over, which I did. The truker had made.it 1/2 way into my lane by the time he started cutting back.into.his.own lane. I about shit my pants, that shit was pretty damn scarry. Ok, so I make it down 70 and get off 202 and get caught at the redlight at.the.end of the ramp. There is a car next to me with 2 people in it. I look over at them, they look over at me no big deal, im like cool they visually see me in the turn lane(I'm cautious in 2 lane turns) so the light.turns green after like a minute and we are side by side in the turn and then I see the guy look to his left(? Umm ?) Then he cuts hard to the right and I reacted quickly and got in the shoulder(very wide shoulder, almost a lanes worth) and slowed down to get back on the road and got in the left lane. This fucker starts cutting back in the left lane now so I just get on my breaks and think what fuck. So I decided to follow behind this asshole and he cuts off 2 other cars almost wrecking them just so he can pull into speedway and get some fucking gas. So I end up pulling into speedway, block the passenger door with my bike(the passenger ended up climbing out the driver side) I said "hey asshole, you.almost killed.me back there twice, you need to pay attention to.the fucking road. Next thing I know.his.kids all up in my face saying you cant call my dad an asshole meanwhile the dad is yelling some crap about what do you want me to do. We get into.it for about 10 minutes and I end up driving off... What a day, avoided 2 wrecks in under 10 minutes because people cant take the time to look at the road. What a bunch of assholes.

Also if anyone thinks making a group ride up to Cincinnati area using just back roads and maybe a little slab would be fun let me know and I'll make a post in the rides and events section. So far the plan is to meet up Saturday and that's really about it. Hopefully my wife hasn't made any plans or doesn't have to work. If there just happens to be anyone wanting to ride up there will be some slight downtime while our bikes are being inspected at the shop.
-
O.K. I just talked to the guy some more and he said there is a small crack in the fairings from when he bought the bike. I'm not too sure how concerned I should be about this? I haven't seen pics of the bike yet, but the guy is going to make a 360 walk around video of the bike. He is from Lexington KY and im from Dayton so I was thinking about maybe cinci? Anyone know a good shop to have our bikes inspected out there maybe recommendation on another place for us to meet up at?(as long as there is a bike shop at said location) also I'm not gunna lie cinci drivers scare the shit out of me, even when I'm in my car, so any recommendations on a good route for going out there?
-
We talked it over and were gunna meet at a shop, it should only be $65ish per bike for inspection(quote is from performance cycles) and then we can both walk away with no doubts
-
Thanks for the input y'all, I will defiantly look into that 650r some more. I'm cool with a straight up trade and I think he is aswell after talking to him some more. They book for practically the same value, both have some damage, mine has some upgrades though and his is stock. The first thing I would probably do is put on new tires(road attacks? Pilots? Battles?) If anyone wants to maybe come check the bike out with me if/when we set up a time/place/day to meet up let me know. I know alot of people arnt too flexible or probably wouldn't want to check it out with me, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. I just want to make sure the bike is every bit as mechanically sound as he claims it is, even if it's just a quick inspection or whatever so I don't end up getting screwed. My bike is in tip top shape(besides cosmetics obviously) and the only issue(I have talked to 4 shops and all say this is pretty common) is a slight squeal sometimes, but not always. All 4 shops have test rode it(vista, comp acc, performance.cycles, sportys) and 2 shops checked it over good and worked on the bike. I have nothing at all to hide about my bike and am honest as possible, I just hope this guy is the same way.

I got a text from a guy about trading my ninja 250r for his ninja 650r. Opinions on this anyone? So far all I know is its an 07 with 10k miles and it fell over while stoped once so there are some bangups. He says the 650 is too big for him so he is looking for something smaller.

That 98 yzf is a real nice find, if I had my bike sold right now I'd jump all over it. it's well below my price range and looks pretty damn clean. I might be look into selling my bike at $2.8k (lowest I'm willing to take, but not in a rush to sell at that price) if this guy I turned down is still interested in it. I know a little about the yzf and have read some good reviews from owners of the bike for when I had a trade offer on mine, but it would of blown my budget. Anyone here have anything to say about the yzf600r?

Is that for all models? Including the 600-750? I think the gsxr500 has a different name gs 500f so im guessing that wouldn't be included?

$160 is per year for full coverage on the ninja. There is another recent thread(my gfs nepew wants a busa) and someone, more than 1 person I think even, said $300 a month and someone said something about $3.2k a year on insurance. Once I take my MFS and report that I now have my endorsements I'm thinking a 4-600 would be.decent per year? The only reason I mentioned monthy is cuz someone else did in that other thread. Once I store my bike I should get a partial refund from progressive cuz im gonna drop the coverage to bare minimum and they said that wouldn't be a problem, just call and let them know.
-
I can't afford a track bike, nor do I have the desire to own a tracker.
-
I mentioned the 750 and kind of favor it just cuz of the droped/stretched one I sat on.l, I didn't ride.it though. Also ya, insurance will be a factor in my choice of bike. $300 a month is redicilous. I pay $160 full coverage right now through progressive. I wouldnt mind paying like 5-600 or so a year for minimum, but if I find out somethings gunna be retarded expensive when I go.to get a quote ima pass on it.

Well, that is true I suppose, but starting on something with a similar feel seems more appealing. Some things I can learn to deal with, but other things(like constantly laying on the tank) I don't think I'd want/could get used to. Awkward... Thanks, my phone doesn't autocorrect the word "awkward" or even give an alternative option to the word. I figured I was spelling it wrong, but nothing I tried typing showed up on my little spelling menu

I think we are going to still be playing the motorcycle picture game in our cars aswell during the winter season if I remember correctly.

Technically couldn't anybike kill you? We can only limit our risk of injury/death so much, especially on a bike. All it takes is that one asshole on a cellphone to end any of our lives. Actually I find it very difficult and nerveracking to ride something that doesn't fit me well, I won't even lie about that. I rode a SV650(not very long)and I just couldn't get my mind off the riding position of the bike. This was completely stock. On my dads ninja I'm not a fan of following as close on his bike(which I guess is good) due to the way it sits aswell, not a very.good fit for me. I did ride my buddys 89 vstar and that was actually pretty cool, different style than what I want, but it was a pretty nice ride. I sat on a lowered gsxr750(didnt ride it though) it felt pretty good to me. And of course my ninja, I feel at one with the bike, it's like we were meant to be, except for the lack of power. I need something I can bond with, I've sat on some bikes at various bike shops when my dad was looking for a new bike, some felt good, some felt ackward. I honestly couldn't tell you what I actually like though without riding it(as long as it doesn't feel ackward just sitting on it). Sure looks matter to an extent, I don't want to look at my bike and think man this thing is fucking ugly as hell. Hopefully whatever I end up with will be the right choice for me, atleast till I feel I have outgrown it or hell I might never feel like I've out grown it. Only time will tell.

Actually from what I've read that is the squid bike of choice. I don't feel like dying though. The busa, opinions may vary, but this is just what I have read in recent and old reviews of the bike is pretty comfortable(good riding positin, good for long rides, comfortable seat, ect..), easier to handle compaired to similar bikes(takes less skill to ride) and the off the floor no mod speed is crazy. It is a great looking bike too. It seems to attract newer riders(especially younger ones) and not crazy expensive for the amount of power it has, especially if bought used. I'm kind of leaning toward a gsxr 750 though to he honest if I happen to run into one around the time my bike sells, but I dunno. There have been some good suggestions on here and some sexy bikes posted up. I will defiantly be researching the bike in question and asking other riders(here or on said bike forum) before I just go out and get something on a whim.
