  1. You're welcome. If you go to Chatsworth, Georgia make sure to stop at Dillon's barbeque. And get the hot slaw on your sandwich. I think it's worth the trip just for one of those. You can go straight down 411 to get there.
  2. If you're riding from Cleveland, Tn. I suggest you check out the Lake Ocoee area for riding. Head East on 64/74 you'll have a river on the right and it's an awesome, curvy road. You can follow it all the way to North Carolina or you can take state road 315 North into the Cherokee National Forest. There's not a bad road around there and the views are all awesome.
  3. The surgery made a huge difference for me. I can breathe normally now and don't sound like an asthmatic smoker trying to run a marathon.
  4. I had the same surgery 6 years ago. You're right, it definitely sucks ass. My doctor told me before the operation that I would be able to go to work on Monday following a Friday surgery. Then, after the surgery, he told my wife it would be at least a week. Before I could go back to work. We were both pissed but I already had the procedure done and was a sitting duck for the next 9 days. I hope yours is issue free and you have a quick recovery.
  5. The basic (beginner) course is to get your license. The state provides the motorcycles for you to ride and at the end of the 3 day course, if you pass the assessment test, you get a card or certificate ( I don't remember which one it is) that you can take to the BMV and they just issue you a new, valid Ohio driver's license with the motorcycle endorsement. You can also present this to your insurance company for a possible discount on your motorcycle insurance. Not all insurance companies do this, though. The problem with waiting is that the classes may fill up before you register and then you simply can't get a seat in the class.
  6. Welcome to the forum from another Greene County resident. I live in Jamestown on the East side of the county.

  9. i've heard some good news about Kilkare. It looks like the drag strip will be open this year. If you look at the home page of their website it says there will be an updated 2015 schedule coming soon. I have been told they should be opening back up in April for test & tune and as soon as I have a confirmed schedule and dates I'll post that. http://www.kilkare.com/index.html
  10. Glad to see you made it over here. Welcome to the forum.

  14. I'm not working on a WR or DRZ but I'm building a track bike of sorts. The frame (came from California) and subframe are 1993 ZX7R (the real homologation stuff and not standard ZX7 stuff I'm calling ZX7R stuff), Ohlins shock (From New York) , White Power WSB forks (From Finland), ZXR750RR Endurance tank (From England), Muzzy Superbike bodywork (from California), Endurance Swing Arm ( still coming, I haven't received it yet), 39mm Keihin race kitted Flatslides (California), 950cc 1994 ZX9R unlimited superbike engine I acquired from an old AMA team, all titanium hardware everywhere except in the engine, either PM chicanes or Marchesini magnesium rims (I have both sets sitting here and I need to decide which ones are going on it. There's many other parts still to go but you get the idea.
  15. Nice bike and welcome to the forum.
