I plan to be there as well but my work schedule is kind of weird so I can't hard commit until a later date. I have an enclosed car trailer and a quad cab dually and you're more than welcome to ride up with me if I do get to go.
  2. I'm glad you have different tastes than me. If everyone in this world had the same likes and dislikes it would be a very boring world. That being said, I think you may be confused. The bikes I'm looking for are the homologation bikes for Superbike racing. In 91-92 there were about 500 of the K model ZX7R' s imported. This was the number they had to import to be legal for AMA 750 Supersport racing. In 93-94 ( there were no 95 ZX7R' s) Kawasaki imported 50 of the ZX7R M model each year so they would be eligible for AMA Superbike racing. These bikes were lighter than the standard ZX7's (these were the J & L models) plus they had more adjustable suspensions, flatslides carbs, close ratio transmissions and a few other things that were different than the standard ZX7's. The ZX7's didn't get portly until the 1996 models came out. Personally I think the 7's are beautiful bikes and I'm quite content with them in my garage. To each their own.
  3. You ride a multistrada and ask if I like ugly bikes? That's funny.
  4. Thanks for the info, but I have a thing for the ZX7R's and the 7RR's.
  5. I'm currently looking for another 91-94 ZX7R or a 1996 ZX7RR. If I find the right one at the right price then great. If not then so be it. 93 ZX7R 91 ZX7R
  6. It's still a win and you earned it. Congrats.

I'm planning on making it to that track day with one of my old jalopies.
  8. Now I find out its just t-shirts and stickers....and I just got my wife to up my allowance so I could get a really cool O.R. tat without having to finance it.
  9. Anything to do with enjoying my bike and the ride is where I plan to be in 2014. There's the Ohio Mile in Wilmington, Kilkare dragstrip in Xenia, National Trail in Columbus, Edgewater in Cincinnati, Norwalk in North Central Ohio, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course for the AMA Superbikes and Vintage Days, many cruise ins around Ohio and a few Vintage motorcycle shows to attend. In that regard my dance card is full. During the winter I celebrate garage season by building bikes to attend these tracks and events. As an idea for an article or series of articles you may want to focus on average guys and the stuff they build or maintain on their garages during the winter months.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Getting on a motorcycle forum and saying you own a race bike without posting pics is the same as claiming you're dating a super hot chick without posting pics.....???? I'm waiting for pics.....
  11. I've been looking into these batteries a little for my current project and I think I'll be buying one. I'm looking at the 16 cell HD Evo 2 if you were wondering.
  12. HAppy New Year everybody. I'm stuck at work today......and I had to get up at 3:30 to get here on time. So far this year blows....
  13. Welcome to the forum. You'll find there are a few veterans on here and it's a pretty good group of people across the board.
