Unfortunately it doesn't come easy. It took the Vietnam War to change the voting age from 21 to 18....

I tend to think we're the only country in the world that looks at anyone under 18 as not able to think for themselves.

So what's the challenge? Give me a reason to get the bike out tomorrow....

That all blows. I'm sorry to hear about your injuries and the wreck. The upsides (and there are many): You're still here. Your wife obviously loves you because she's giving you "the talk". The bike is replaceable. You're moving and have the perfect excuse for "supervising" during the move. Ther are more upsides and I'm sure you'll figure them all out over time.

Hope it's not a re-post, thought it was really funny and wanted to share: On January 9th, a group of Pekin, Illinois bikers were riding west on I-74 when they saw a girl about to jump off the Murray Baker Bridge . So they stopped. Their leader George, a big burly man of 53, got off his Harley, walked through a group of gawkers past the State Trooper, and said to her, "What are you doing?" She replied "I'm going to commit suicide." While he didn't want to appear "sensitive," neither did he want to miss a “be-a-legend” opportunity, either. So he asked ... "Well, before you jump, why don't you give me a kiss?" With no hesitation at all, she leaned back over the railing and did just that ... a long, deep, lingering kiss followed immediately by another one. After that, George quickly won approval from his biker-buddies, onlookers, and even the State Trooper. He said "Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had, Honey! That's a real talent you're about to waste, Sugar Shorts. You could be famous if you rode with me. Why are you committing suicide?" "My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl." It's still unclear whether he jumped or was pushed.

Where will AMA ,WSB and MotoGP roadracing be shown? Or will it be on at all anymore? That's the only reason I watched Speed.

I did one Med Cruise and one Med\Arabian Gulf Cruise.

I'm there with you. Navy during the first Gulf War.

I just read Isaac's Papa's thread on international pay and it got me thinking about how far I've travelled for work and I'm curious if anyone else is in the same boat. I'm currently in Everett, Washington and live in Jamestown,Ohio. I have no idea how far that is. I'll figure that out later. How far have you guys travelled?
