So, on the Gun Violence Summary, the main points:
1. Closing background check loopholes
2. Banning military style assault rifles
3. Making Schools safer
4. Increasing access to mental health professionals.
If he was really concerned about what happened, why isn't "Making Schools Safer" #1 on the list?

i bet the mental health field takes a serious hit because of this. makes me never want to see a mental health professional, even if i ever needed to. im sure most people feel the same way.
i see major problems with this regarding HIPPA, and other patients right to privacy issues.

This is because no matter who you order the rifle from, the hold up is bolt carriers. Nobody has them and all makers get them from the same place. Lowers are shipping, uppers are mostly availible for the right price. LPKs and BCGs however are scarce.
Good to know. I thought it mainly pertained to, if Ms. Feinstein made the AR15 magically appear on her 120 gun ban list, you would be able to get the part that is actually the only registered piece on the weapon. The parts to follow really would have no critical time limit to be received. The lower would be the only really time sensitive piece.

They will be banned/neutered long before then. 10 rounds, fixed mags, no pistol grips, every component must be stored in an individual safe and they will be required to shoot daisy petals instead of bullets.
per their site, they werent selling lowers anymore, but if you purchased a full rifle, if a ban were to go into effect, they would mail you the lower, and build the rest, and send it to you at a later date...

I like the manditory death penalty thing. It would kill 2 birds with 1 stone (no pun intended).
1. Achieve justice properly. Eye for an eye.
2. Not overcrowd our jails with killers. We don't need to be paying for these people to keep on living.
Sadly, it wouldn't happen. We as a nation are consumed with incarceration. There are people who should be locked up, but we are absolutely obsessed with it.

When I say Nat'l Guard involved. I don't mean anything like shooting. I mean dispatched to control protests that could protentially get heated. There are many parts of the country that are way more gun oriented than Ohio.

Agreed. But I think many members would shy away from this kind of confrontation. It could be Kent State all over again, but this time it wouldn't just be National Guard vs. A ton of unarmed hippies.

Its not a tough job depending on how far away the power tap has to come from.
i know there is power up there. there are several other fixtures up there in the attic, (can lighting, etc). i would guess no more than 8 to 10 feet from the proposed new fixture.

Let's assume Barry implements some meaningful gun control measures via Executive Order, bypassing the legislative process.
I predict that would cause civil unrest in many areas across the country. There would be many protests and the Nat'l Guard would become involved.
They don't realize it, but I don't think all the National Guard members would comply. The very people they count on to uphold any absurd executive order, are categorically freedom loving, pro gun types.

first i was looking for electricians, now plumbers, go figure.
im having an issue where my sump pump runs, and instead of draining wherever the hell it is supposed to drain outside, the water comes shooting out one of my gutter downspout tubes. essentially water is just pooling at the foundation of the house, ive done a little bit of digging around it with a hand trowel, but i am getting my shovel back tonight.
so if there are any plumbers out there who are interested in this job, let me know.
