  1. That's a good rule of thumb.

I always do 4-6 weeks minimum in the primary fermenter, sometimes longer, but I'm typically making "bigger" beers in the 10% ABV or so range so they tend to take a longer time than lighter stuff anyway.

I find that chilling the wort as quickly as possible produces the best clarity and prevents "chill haze". Something about cooling it fast helps precipitate out all of the cloudy junk. I also siphon from the primary to the bottling bucket (where it gets the priming sugar added) to leave as much sediment out as possible.

You can probably drink them in as little as a few days after bottling, but more time tends to equal more character.

    Do you re-use your yeast?

  2. How long did you sit on your Primary?

How long are you going to sit once bottled?

How long are you going to chill before consuming?

primary is at 2 weeks as of today. Waiting til week 3 to bottle.

Don't know, probably another 3 wks.

Don't know how long ill chill it.

Its a blonde ale, that's all I know.

  3. anyone here homebrew?

Can you bottle your shit straight into growlers? Id like to get carbonation, but didn't know if you could achieve carbonation using a growler. I plan on bottling and letting my brew sit for 3 wks.

  4. If you are even thinking of running, and are fat, I wouldn't get a treadmill. Instead, devote yourself to a walking plan, then start running after you lose some weight. Plus the roads are free. Don't buy a treadmill.
  5. Welder k25 watch, worn a few times. No scratches, blemishes of any kind on the face or even the strap or backing. 46mm face, all features work. Comes with rubber strap, as well as leather strap, and cool carrying case.

I paid $500 at world of watches, ill sell for $300 firm. Trades for other watches closer to 40-43mm, guns, etc.

  6. A simple bench, maybe a bench press rack and some dumbells.

A gym membership is great until you realize you have to drive there every fucking time, and share the equipment. Plus if you pay $30 to $50 a month, you could have easily just bought weights for the cost of a years worth of memberships.

Hell, I just bought a bench, and nice squat rack combo, 2 olympic bars and 400+ lbs of weight for $350. Ill have it for life, and wil never pay for a membership again.

As for heart rate monitors, don't do it. The best guage for that is perceived effort. If doing cardio, just make sure you are at a conversational pace, meaning you could converse with someone if they were next to you. The key is just getting your heart rate elevated above your resting rate.

  7. Amateur photographers that complain about grudge race fans.
