  1. bahablabalb I'm a colt driving manlet blah blah blah

All I read from your post.

Can this be the post of the week :fuckyeah:

Can you be the worst mod of the year? Oh wait, you already are, even before this ignorant post.

  2. CR, y u begin to make mature decisions about the value, or lack thereof, of racing?

    +1

Just do a risk/reward analysis on it. Ask yourself, is losing my license and job worth it to win $20 off of Phil? No.

Its the same like 5 idiots in these threads calling eachother out. Everyone already basically knows the outcome of each race, everyone knows what everyone else has. Racing used to be cool, now its just kinda meh. I mean look at this forum, this is Columbus Racing, and the majority of it is people asking for home advice and posting pics of their gardens. If we changed the CR logo to HGTV I don't think a single person would give a single fuck, or even notice.

  3. well, i pulled the faulty valve and it had what looked to be like 3-5 piece of gravel in it. like bigger than kitty litter. i have no idea how it got in there. anyway, i installed the new valve and we are golden.
  4. Out of curiousity through this power outage, I was wondering about the feasibility of generating your own electricity.

In looking at some Generac models, a 2500sqft residential dwelling could be powered off of a $9000 unit. That's a lot of dough, but with natural gas prices dropping, is there any research done by an individual or group that possibly shows a NatGas electrical generator being a reliable replacement for the electric company?

I spoke to a UA police officer yesterday as I was volunteering for a 4th of July parade, and in discussions he said the biggest concern - aside from $$$ and wear on the generator - would be noise levels possibly being offensive to neighbors.

I doubt any self generated power would be cheaper than what AEP provides. You don't have the economies of scale that they already have.

  5. I feel your pain bro. I had to fix a leak that was dripping in my basement. It was my shower head pipe that was behind wonderful tile. Had to destroy all of that to replace 1 fucking pipe. Then I found out the walls are all cement block with chicken wire in the middle. I removed all of them with minimal bleeding and replaced with water resistant drywall. Every house should have drywall and paint. I have horror stories of removing 5 layers of wallpaper from my other rooms.

sucks bad. i thought i was gonna have to rip my shit out. still might, who knows. use durock, not mold resistant greenboard. its more moisture resistant, and the tile sticks better when you go to put it on.

  6. This kind of shit always happens to me. The handful of "little" jobs this house needed when we bought it 5 years ago have just recently been finished (except for new kitchen tiles) because every one of them turned out to be a much bigger pain in the ass than anticipated.

Home ownership is the suck. :fa:

    +1000000

i come home on tues, my gf knows about all these problems (leaking toilet, leaking shower, toilet running constantly), and asks why I am pissed. i proceeded to scream in her face that im pissed that i just spent $8k on a bathroom that doesn't fucking work, that's why im pissed.

  7. To counter, sometimes it is not the simple things.

Like my thread about my shower leaking. The thing is still leaking, because I called moen, and they have to mail me a new cartridge for a shower valve that i bought 2 months ago. I screwed around with it a few times, sometimes it got it to leak less, sometimes more, but it has never stopped it. 4 days now with a very large drip, even possibly a stream. Nothing I can correct without them supplying the right part.

  8. He can't even post pics on a forum from an iPad, who would let that guy touch a $500 car let alone a $300k+ version.... :dumb:

    Dear guise,

Cannot figure out to post pics directly from my c drive

    Thx,

    Eric

But in all srsness, people here on cr are still just butthurt that he can act like a douche cause he owns a lambo. Its the ultimate american dream to afford anything you want, and shit on everyone else. He's doing it and all da haterz rollin in. Amazing.

  9. thanks for the update, I was so on the edge of my seat that I literally knocked over the chair in anticipation
