  1. Any chance of starting earlier?
  2. Saturday was a little hot, Sunday was just about perfect.
  3. The vest sounds exactly like what my body naturally did to my t shirt Saturday.
  4. Could I get a price for a set of Pilot Power 2CT in 180/55/17 and 120/70/17? also could I get a price for a rear Pilot Road 2CT in 180/55/17?
  5. Ive watched two friends drop bikes because their pantleg and shoe laces got caught on the heel guard of their sportbikes. Happened to me once, but I realized it before coming to a complete stop...friends weren't so lucky.
  6. Was a great ride today. Have to find time to do it again. Was nice to find some fun roads that are not quite as far away. Heres the map of our route.
  7. ^ yep, opening your visor today was like having a staring contest with a forced air heater. Makes you wonder how all the people in shorts, t-shirts and no helmets do it.
  8. I'm surprised you got so hot since your jacket seems so open. http://www.veskimo.com/personal-cooling-vest-systems.html I think your better off having extra water to stay hydrated. You ever try heatgear clothing or something similar? I wear the compression shorts for the longer trips, and IMO it makes a huge difference both in the heat and for comfort.

just got back, time for a beer.... The route back 39, 164, 172, 77 wasnt too bad. As I crossed 9 I stopped, pulled out the map and started looking at the route back down 9, 39 all the way to mid ohio to check out the track day....as I pushed the bike back out of the gravel spot it was parked in I realized how tired I was and just came home....another day.
  10. I was riding like Fred Flintstone in Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago...bumper to bumper traffic on the way into the squirrel hill tunnel for an hour and a half. I killed the bike and kicked off to coast every chance I had. Probably looked like an ass, but I didnt cook my balls off and it gave me something to do to pass the time.

I just happened across that little S bend when planning a route for the 4th and never ended up going. On google maps street view it looks like a decent stretch of road....never been before, so I cant attest to it though.
  12. I do it out of lazyness when I know I'll be stopping about 50 feet up. Sometimes float my feet just off the highway out of boredom or to stretch out too.

In Depending on how cooked I am after the ride I may head over to midohio to check out the trackday if anyone is interested.
  15. androids fragmented.....but just about any model you get is going to be a great phone. My original captivate (samsung galaxy s) is still going strong as my mothers phone. I'd say the benefit of hardware choices outweighs the cost of slow updates for some models.
  16. looked at the weather this morning and went back to bed.....hopefully this weekend is cooler
  17. if anyone else is interested, I was thinking of doing this tomorrow... https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Cleveland,+OH&daddr=OH-212+E+to:40.56512,-81.34644+to:40.391687,-80.9567667+to:40.4656595,-80.955444+to:Ohio+152,+OH+to:40.3007,-80.62431+to:40.1994398,-80.9107158+to:Ohio+519,+OH+to:40.2299522,-81.2428313+to:40.22809,-81.33304+to:40.35655,-81.29652+to:40.42084,-81.21696+to:Cleveland,+OH&hl=en&ll=40.35701,-80.81955&spn=0.67184,1.560059&sll=40.403562,-81.258316&sspn=0.335688,0.780029&geocode=FWc7eQIdT20h-ykta2jjLu8wiDFCGGL3VcsE7Q%3BFSgwbAId7Rsl-w%3BFYD5agIdeMAm-ymvZ1IUG-Y2iDGe7MGB-BDMZg%3BFQdUaAIdorIs-yk_Bu8mu4U2iDGstiESxYu_RA%3BFft0aQIdzLcs-ynZexxd6Jo2iDHB5zAWGoq-aw%3BFfb7ZwIdHGgv-ymRF4l7tC40iDE1YaA6MMUJEw%3BFZzwZgIdSsUx-yl57NdtezI0iDFvmJyhV-ujRg%3BFQ9lZQIdhWYt-ymZLZ6lCHw2iDGasbzgRk6_rw%3BFXgyZQIdhN4r-ykVS5DMpmQ2iDE7682EAkIbDA%3BFUDcZQIdMVUo-ykX2HCRr142iDGywdFGgU6Mfg%3BFfrUZQId0PQm-yn37BWp-Fk2iDHH25RZIQUUBg%3BFcbKZwIdeIMn-ynXSsHmAPc2iDHThOPDzB6KaA%3BFejFaAIdQLoo-ykBaXqNsfM2iDGBTIN_dfwbJQ%3BFWc7eQIdT20h-ykta2jjLu8wiDFCGGL3VcsE7Q&t=h&gl=us&mra=dpe&mrsp=12&sz=11&via=2,3,4,6,7,9,10,11,12&z=10

    Macbook Disaster

macbooks have been around for awhile, wouldnt necessarily have to be a $2k+ computer Depending on what they say at the store, I'd bring it home with a gallon or two of distilled water, a bag of rice and a small rubbermaid tote big enough for the laptop. Separate the mobo from everything and wash the board in the water, dump the rice in the tote and make a flat bed. Throw a wash cloth on top of the rice and sit the motherboard on the washcloth.

    Mj usa

its the shops liability, not the owners...the shop should carry insurance for just this sort of thing, no different than if the shop burned down and everything was lost including their customers equipment. At least that is the way it should be.
  22. heres what I could find. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262529
  23. I say the same thing, but it would lessen the incentive for stupid people to try stupid shit just because it is "legal".
