Yaaaas. The moar daytona's the better. Is it bad that I've contemplated selling mine to buy Jinu's?
I literally JUST told Dan this.....stop contemplating and post the thing up if you are even remotely considering it.

On a motorcycle note: I just got another rear and some new gloves for next weekend. *giddy*
Need the rear mounted?
Just signed up for NC and Summit!

The e60 M5 is border line when they stopped being "drivers" cars and became more mainstream and everyone started being able to buy them. Still a great car but with even higher maintenance costs.
I guess I loved the e39 M5 because it was a drivers car. You cant drive stick? Sorry, you have to either learn or you wont be driving this car because there's no other transmission option. It has 2 buttons, Traction control on and traction control completely off. Sport mode on, sport mode off. That's it, and I loved it. It was also one of the best behaved cars to get slidewayz, almost drove itself while sliding around.
But the V10 sounds amazing with an exhaust too.
IDK shit about cars, but you just made me want a e39 M5

I'm going to the air race on Saturday and Putnam on Sunday.
Nice!
Wish Putnam allowed camping, would make things a lot easier if this goes through.

Dan knows better. There are fun roads literally right off his driveway. He probably already wrote down the mileage. but I heard if I drive back in reverse I can back the mileage off, don't tell anyone.
-
I'm only planning on heading down to drop off the bike and gear....maybe hang out for some of Saturday then head back. Let me know a time that works for you Jester....I can lend a hand with the truck stuff as well as load up most my shit.
-
My thought:
I'll give you most of my stuff this weekend. Some of it I won't be able to carry because of space w the bike/spares I'll need to bring to sell.
Brandon could drop his bike w you then as well if he can make the trip.
TimNot can load up whenever since his stuff is already there.
TimTheAzn drives down to your place Friday and loads his bike/stuff w you. You two set off for NC.
Brandon and I drive to your place, meet up w TimNot, pick up Ron in route and head to NC. (Ron is ~20 minutes off-route) Ron either loads up w Bill, or we hook up his trailer and roll.
If Brandon can't make Monday, he could drive himself straight there to have a return vehicle.
"you" refers to Jester

agreed, even if all the shit was transferred this weekend at PIRC and ready to go....still have the issue of the return and getting everyone's stuff back.
-
Will have to be Dan's(really TimNotAnAzn's lol) or Bill's trailer. Both of which are not far out of the way for the overall trip.
Any idea the time Tim would be able to depart? I could meet up with him and pick Ron up en route.
I'm considering doing Putnam the next weekend, so even though it will be a pain in the ass....I'd like to get all my shit that night. (as is custom, some small keepsake will be forgot in the trailer lol) Isn't looking like I'll have a 2nd bike for the trip, so that will alleviate some of the packing issues.
The drive back from Summit isn't bad, with our headcount, we could be packed up hitting the road by 5....stop at Sheetz for a on-the-road snack and we will be really rolling by 5:30.
-
I'm taking my bike to PIRC this weekend to drop off with whoever's trailer we are hauling.
I need to minimize vacation time. Can get out around 2 on Friday without using up any time, and I'll drive through Monday night to get back home for work Tuesday.
Think Ron is in a similar boat w vacation, so I was thinking of driving to his place for the 2nd vehicle ride. Hell, I could drive, but my car isn't that comfortable for a long haul.
TimNotAnAzn lol

So looking forward to hitting a new track (NCBike) this year.....my NYST half day debacle didn't count IMHO.
-
My bad, I was thinking this was about PIRC lol....thought you were already signed up worried about this weekend
-
other option....buy the elite now, 6 day package when it comes up for sale in the winter and keep and keep an eye on the forum to snipe credits that come up for sale. Won't be as good of a deal as the 12 day package, but you have the current days on the line. I'd wait till Friday.
-
I believe that is the way it works, but email info@n2td.org to verify before throwing down money. I've only ever purchased the 12 day package, so I couldn't tell you for certain. Also, if you are considering the package deal with 12 or more days, the elite is included. So weigh that into your decision as well.

I was about to type that exact statement word for word.

signed up already? PIRC has pretty good traction in the wet, can't speak for the new South addition....you would have to talk to our resident rain master.
or....use it as an excuse to buy the elite membership and get your days back, then when you buy days in the future, they are cheaper, don't have a late fee and can cancel all the way up to the morning meeting with no penalty.

Nope. I am 0/2 for riding gsxr 600's and dropping them. 750/1000 fine! But both gsxr600's I've ridden I've 0mph dropped.
I had two 0 mph drops before riding even riding the bike this season....first two I've ever had.

I have the board open every day at work in a tab in IE. When I need to take a 5 minute break or something, I just go to the OR tab lol.
My name is Tim, and I am addicted to OR.
Same for the most part.....right now I also have CCS, WERA and N2's classifieds open as well, that way I can just click refresh

I had a dream last night that I couldnt fit my car or trailer in the garage anymore because it was filled with street and track bikes. I woke up shortly after I started walking through "my" garage. Damn alarm clock
hahaha, only reason I can fit my trailer in the garage is because the bike is always on it. It's OK though, going to have a vacancy after this weekend.....won't be empty long.

Don't leave out the 650 !

300 or 650....think I'd lean toward the 300 for a bigger range of bikes....650 is a little too close to a 600 or 675.

So the truth comes out... Ryan needs a daytona.
I'll take one, a 2015 R1 and a Ninja 300.

Yes, that is the plan.
Did you end up buying that 675 you were going after?
having an internal debate with myself about the 675 or a squid 1k that is in Michigan. The 675 or R6 would be the way to go if I was dead set on racing, but I don't want to spend the money or have the pressure of a race season.....only race I'm really interested in is Mid-O.
I've had an absolute blast the last few days on my 750 now that the issues have been worked out; only reason I'm considering another bike at this point is because the 600 and a ton of parts is going away this weekend.
