I haven't read a lot about either but I'm guessing that the FJ has the better engine (I've ridden it and it's killer) and the Ducati will have better components (i.e. suspension). I'd go with the one that has the better engine and mod the suspension as needed. Honestly, the Duc probably is better paired against the FZ09 as it's a true naked bike while the FJ has some wind protection and luggage options.

I got one like this http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/gun-storage/safe-accessories/goldenrod-dehumidifier-prod1703.aspx Of course, the safe needs an outlet inside.

On the radio they said it's gonna be 72 this Sunday

Mine had holes in the base to bolt to the floor. It's now anchored in concrete...it weighs a friggin' ton anyway so it's there for life.

We got a Fort Knox with dual keypad and combo entry. Definitely pricier than others but I like the features it has. Make sure you get more safe than what you think you'll need...the biggest buyers remorse is getting one you outgrow in a year or two. Do your homework...though many look similar, the way they are constructed and materials used makes a huge difference. Decide how secure you want it to be. Should it withstand a longer attack from thieves or is it more to keep honest people honest and kids away from firearms? Fire resistance is a huge feature and make sure the ratings are UL 72 certified and passes. "Tested to UL standards" doesn't mean it passed the test. Also, don't store your ammo in the safe. The heat can set them off and ruin whatever is in there. There used to be a great Youtube video on this stuff but I can't seem to dig up the links.

The rep had me use the "autopilot" (it was before the latest software update for this for steering) and it was nerve-racking for me to not hit the brakes when the car ahead of me slowed/stopped.

I still have my deposit in for a Model X but it looks like I wouldn't be able to get one until late 2016 and my current lease ends in March. I may end up with a Model S but honestly with bad knees it's a drag getting in and out of a low car so I'll have to wait until closer to March to decide.

Paige is a demon on the bike...she can out ride just about anyone I know. Nice singing voice too : )

The former owner of PJ's parts (his ex now runs that business) has a new business for bike rentals in the Smoky Mountains (i.e. Deal's Gap area) and NorCal. I've done business with and met PJ and he is a stand-up guy so though I haven't engaged in his new ventured, I'd have no problems recommending it. If you are going to be in either area, check it out. http://sportbikes4hire.com/ I do a group car trip down there around labor day every year and always wish I had my bike so I'm excited about being able to rent one while I'm there.

I've never had issues with CS but they have never done any major work for me like you are talking about.

It's only their Fairfield location...KTM would not let them sell at both shops. Something about being too close blah blah which is stupid because they are essentially one shop. I've never bought from either (most of my bikes have been used) but I have used them for service extensively (both locations) and no complaints. http://www.cyclespecialtiesus.com/

I'd love to have one of these. After spending $14k on the Tenere not even a year ago, no way the wife would approve another $23k
-
Cycle Specialties in northern Cinci is a KTM dealer now...a little far for you Yankees I reckon. You could always visit me

It needs some sort of fairing...even if it's a small one. I'm not a fan of the bare round headlight look. I'm sure the engine is great.

It'll probably legally federally before OH now.

^^^this...we stopped by frequently and spoke with the workers including the subcontractors. Not only did we build a good relationship but they frequently offered up options and suggestions about things that could either save $ or would make it better for no extra cost. An example is the tile guy. He was chatty but nice and as he was about to lay the bathroom tile, he suggested we rotate the tile 45 degrees to the walls to make diamonds and he could use the leftover smaller tiles to put squares in the intersection of the tiles every other one. It turned out to look much better this way than they design we had originally asked for and cost us nothing even though it was probably a bit more work for him. Granted this was a custom home and we were already paying big bucks but I think it would apply with any builder.
-
Just make sure the inspector is a non-biased third party. You can have them "pre-wire" for speakers out in (cost very little) so later on when you have the $, you can buy the speakers and hook them up to the wiring. That's what we did with out first house.
-
I've heard of them but no experience with them nor heard much about them. I don't care who the builder is, get your own home inspector and have it inspected pre-drywall stage (after plumbing, electric, etc) and again when finished. Don't rely on the builder to do the inspections. I did this with both of my homes...one with Fischer (cookie cutter homes) and one with a higher-end custom builder. The latter was a bit offended that we brought in an inspector but I didn't care and ultimately he understood why. The inspector identified things in each case that weren't "wrong" per se but not optimal which we were able to correct then and potentially save us $ in the future. Also, in pre-drywall stage go through the house with a video camera or take cell video of everything. Video every room and go slow to make sure you get video of all "walls". and what will be embedded in them. This is incredibly useful after the home is built if you need to know where plumbing or wiring is routed and where ducts, etc run behind the walls so you don't hit them when hanging things or if need to make changes later. Pre-wire ethernet in most rooms if it's in your budget. Wireless is great but not as fast as wired for streaming etc.

Yeah, but the ballot says "one", not "more: One: the lowest cardinal number; half of two
-
i also noticed that it says "one" and not "more" or "additional"
-
I don't disagree there. The state rep actually seemed to think that another "more reasonable" ballot would come up very quickly if I3 shot down. interesting that I read that if both Issue 2 & 3 pass, it would likely to the OH supreme court to decide.
-
The language reads: "One additional growth facility may be allowed for in four years only if existing facilities cannot meet consumer demand" Here it is if anyone wants to read it. http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/upload/ballotboard/2015/3-language.pdf

I heard a radio interview with an Ohio state rep who is a proponent of issue 2. His chief complaint (he is not against legalizing mj) was that the language in the proposal will not allow any other sellers than the original 10 with the only caveat being if they cannot meet demand (fat chance). Anyone can grow their own, they just can't sell it. So in his mind (correctly so) these guys are trying to corner the market in Ohio. His other main concern that it is a change to the Ohio constitution which in his words "cannot be changed whatsoever - not even a comma". Then the radio host said, "well, we amend constitutions all the time. It could be later amended". To which the rep kinda of tiptoed around and admitted "well yeah, but it would require a vote". Duh. While I'm against the whole monopoly thing, it's something that can (and likely will) be amended at some point if issue 3 passes. In the meantime, people will grow their own and sell it, just as they are doing today. I agree with Chris ^^^ even though public sentiment for legalization is high (no pun intended), I think it will fail to pass because of the monopoly issue. I think issue 2 will pass. Maybe Tonik can invoke the dome of hate to influence the outcome.
