1267 miles later, I'm home. Tonik and I did the dam tour, we passed 4 or 5 of them on the way. We hit some fantastic roads that also had some beautiful views and scenery. Weather was great and the roads were all in good shape though one had a serious drop off on the side with no guard rails and wasn't quite 2 lanes wide. Great trip...I'd ride with Jim & Tim anywhere. Hope everyone makes it home safe.

I saw a rider on a jap cruiser with OH plates ahead of me on 129 after getting off 40. Day glo yellow helmet. I stopped for gas so didn't see more. Anyone from here?

At the Microtel in Robbinsville. No reams ready for another hour or two so not sure when I'll make it to Cafe Rel. lots of wet leaves on the road and on the dragon. Be careful!

I hit it for sure. Even through my jacket and a thermal layer it stung. Luckily it was only a short time. It wasn't raining when I hit the hotel thankfully so I could unload in the dry.

I made it to Jellico in one piece just fine. Hit some serious heavy rain in Rockcastle Co to the point where cars are pulling over but the ST breezed right through it no problem. Reindeer work great if not wet at...all see you guys tomorrow

I'm packed...have a half day of work ahead of me (less than that now) and then I'm off. Probably around 1...expect to be in Jellico no later than 5 but likely closer to 4. The atmospheric conditions may hinder my speed.

Funny...can't find these on the Shoei NA site which is where I looked. I even read on one site that they didn't make tinted visors for these since it has the internal shield, therefore no need. I'll have to dig that up again.

They are now but weren't 6 weeks ago when I ordered. Trust me, I searched. I called Revzilla and they said everyone was backordered. BTW, that eBAY one is not an official Shoei shield. Shoei only makes the CNS-1 in clear. Does it matter? Don't know.

Yah, I replaced my shield and pinlock as the shield was all scratched. Not one retailer had the shield for the Neotec in stock and I had to order it from Shoei in Japan. Took 6 weeks on the slow boat and arrived yesterday.

My guess is the CFO is mandating the sale. "Look honey, I posted it for a month and no bites. I'm keeping it."

I changed my schedule slightly...was going to leave around 4ish tomorrow but because of the eather-way, knowing I would be hitting Lexington at rush hour, and the fact that I'll be back in the office Wednesday - a day earlier than originally planned, I took a 1/2 day Friday and will be leaving around 1pm.

I can't even remember the last time I played cards except cards against humanity.
