  1. Unfortunately, ISIS will probably be around a lot longer than anyone would like.
  2. It's not a fair comparison because life isn't fair. It just illustrates the fact that most Americans' attention isn't focused where it should be. They are more worried about what the Kardashians are doing than what ISIS is doing.
  3. I agree that their deaths generally garner more attention than warranted given that we have a steady stream of dead soldiers returning from "war" that get little to no fanfare from the vast majority of the population. This is largely because the media chooses to focus on the attention whores and gloss over the rest.
  4. 'tis the time of year when the sellin' starts!
  5. Oh man I would love to do that but that's the final weekend my son is home before he goes back to Afghanistan so I want to spend that time with him. Maybe next year.
  6. The one in Cinci has urban brawler pipes on it which are ridiculously loud. I had a set for about a week...they are basically straight pipes.
  7. I sold mine for something like $5250 with 7k mi
  8. ^^this...my 2010 was the best bike I ever owned. I only sold it because I needed something with a more relaxed riding position due to knee issues. You should be able to find a glut of them relatively cheap soon when people unload before the season ends. My only gripe with the bike was the smallish tank (get about 120mi before needing fuel, the light comes on right around 100mi). Keep an eye out here - http://www.z1000forum.com/forum/
  9. You forgot the part about the midget on the skateboard being towed by a unicorn who deflected the bullets fired at the office to strike Mr. Brown.
  10. Fairings are just the manufacturers way of keeping you from fiddling with the engine
  11. I knew it was some sort of other inspection. I have never done a salvage title before.
  12. Or an elbow which would leave even less evidence on the attacker.
  13. They are irrelevant. The OH inspection consists of a VIN check only unless it is a salvage title, then a safety inspection may be required.
  14. He could have stab wounds and his blood on Michael Brown's hands and they would still call for "justice" for the innocent boy who strong arm robbed a convenient store hours before. Nothing but a murder charge conviction of the officer, regardless of the facts, will appease the masses. It will get worse before it gets better. If I was a LEO anywhere in the US, I'd take long vacation.
  15. http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/105185-titling-a-bike-from-out-of-state
  16. I'm interested in seeing the results of the toxicology report. I'm not sure the bullet wounds are all that conclusive except for the fact that he was facing the officer, not running away or surrendering with his back turned as many witnesses said.
  17. I love it how from one semester to the next, they come out with a "new" math book making the one you have worthless and obsolete. Math hasn't changed in thousands of years (unless you are in the advanced crap). It's all a money grab. You pay $100's for it and they'll buy it back for $20, if at all.
  18. The safest place to be in Ferguson is a book store
  19. this ad is worthless without pics
  20. Pics and vids of him robbing the place are starting to hit all the news outlets now. Did he deserve to be shot and killed? Unlikely. But I can't help but feel that if you choose to behave badly, expect bad things to happen to you eventually and not necessarily commensurately. He didn't get shot because he was picking flowers in the park.
  21. Maybe you should do some research...
  22. aaaaaand here it comes. As usual, the "he's was a good boy, he was an honor student, he would never do anything bad" portrait gets painted up front and later you find out much differently. I believe they probably do teach their kids that stuff and likely with good cause. Face it, when a particular group of people commit a disproportionately large amount of the crime in the country, LEO's are going to scrutinize their behavior more and probably not give them the benefit of the doubt in most circumstances. Right or wrong, it's happening.
  23. So are soldiers/officers, politicians, judges, etc, etc and they are caught in lies all the time. Be real, it's human nature, it happens. You can't say that their "standard practice" is to cover it up as some sort of premeditated plan.
