  1. How is that different from just about any other person who's guilty of whatever they crime are being accused of? Most will do anything to deflect the guilt to avoid repercussions, the least of which is lying. I wouldn't put it past witnesses to lie either (or at least be mileadingly biased) for whatever personal agenda they may be harboring. Not saying it's right but why expect cops to stick to a higher standard than anyone else including politicians, military officers, or even the average Joe?
  2. If they wanted to shoot Mike Brown, I wish they would've started in Cincinnati.
  3. The nakeds seem to be getting more popular...maybe you are right about being due to pricing but I think once people start riding them, they won't go back. They are just as fun as the supersports IMO.
  4. I don't know why naked bikes aren't more popular here in the states. I hate having all the plastic on the bike. More to break, more to wash, more to remove when changing the oil etc. I think Butters is right about many buying the full fairing bikes for the bling factor. That look is tired IMO. I say, the 90's called, they want their bikes back.
  5. True dat but at my work, AFJ is blocked because of the site name. I guess the censor bots think it's a naughty site.
  6. I went to school for VB & .NET stuff but it's been 6 years or so since I've done anything with it unfortunately. I don't do Java or Ruby but know several here at work that are very good Java devs. Not sure if they'd be interested or not and all are located in Cinci/NKY. Is this a web form based or standalone application and does the app need to hook into a database or other web API's?
  7. I'd get there 1/2 hour before the start time (that's what I did). Basically, you register and choose which bike you want to ride. There will be a ride briefing and then you ride. The one in Cincinnati was about an 8 mile loop with some nice curves - each location will vary obviously. The rides are Yamaha led so don't expect to ride excessively fast, stunt, etc. They are very strict on this. After the ride, you can get back in line to sign up to ride another bike. I think you can ride up to three per day but it may depend on how many people there are. I rode the S10 and the VMax. The Yamaha folks were super nice and knowledgeable. I fully plan to buy an S10 next spring as long as I am still gainfully employed.
  8. Get their early to ride the FZ-07...I went to the one in Cincinnati and the majority of the people there were there to ride the FZ-07
  9. They are depraved because they are deprived. It's not their fault
  10. Hard being rich and famous I guess.
  11. I saw something similar over at the ADVRider forum recently. Kinda neat.
  12. Not my bike but looks nice... http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134044
  13. I meet in a public place...especially if selling on Craigslist. If I meet someone, the plate is on the bike but it's 1 person, not untold thousands online. The plate is publicly visible but as I ride by the observer has no other info about me other than the state I live in and my overall appearance which is also somewhat masked by gear. Online, people have the ability to glean much more info if they are intelligent and persistent enough. Again, this is an ounce of prevention that takes little effort so I don't see the downside for doing so.
  14. I do...it's called due diligence. Anyone diligent enough could probably also get my name and address information. Every bit of personal info someone gains can be used to social engineer others into giving up more info or even access to things. One day I may mention online that I'm going on vacation and get back to find out I've been robbed. I never publish my phone number publicly online either. Who knows what people will do with info they get online. It takes all of 10 seconds to edit the picture. I also shred my mail and old credit cards. I'd rather be paranoid than regretful.
  15. Just scrap it altogether...it's a joke.
  16. I had the same processor in my personal system and ran @ 4.5GHz on a water cooling and that wasn't even trying to push it.
  17. Woot has the Gear Pro cameras again... http://electronics.woot.com/plus/gear-pro-sport-action-cams
