  1. I was always told that if you leave the car in gear and it gets bumped hard enough by another car, it could tear up your transmission.
  2. I always leave mine in neutral. Usually so I can let go of the clutch before I shut it down. I also like to start my bikes in neutral as typically I'm not on it when I do so it saves me from having to put it in neutral prior to starting.
  3. If you get an FCR carb, 3x3 airbox mod and flow exhaust it's usually around 40. Without the FCR carb, I think it's around 35 or 36
  4. FYI on current LEO activity down there.... http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133318
  5. Trying is the first step towards failure - Homer Simpson
  6. Former home of Bristols gentleman's club. Not that I would know anything about that.
  7. I saw this on the FZ1 forum...relatively easy pickup if you are going to the gap rally. Not a DRZ but looks like fun. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/mcy/4490149554.html http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133321
  8. I'm counting the days until this site is block by our work filter
  9. Funny, every time I see your username, I think UPS. What can Brown do for you?
  10. Maybe, my work filters everything . All I see are strings of numbers in place of the images which is unusual.
  11. Can't see the pics but good luck with your business!
  12. Well, it is 2103 after all...global cooling will have kicked in by then
  13. Yeah, I'm bummed about that. It's the one place I would go if I wanted to do some leisurely riding without hassles.
  14. Way back on my CBR, I bought brand new pilot road 2's and within 50mi I got a nail in the rear tire. I plugged it myself with one of those kits you get in the auto store and put 5k miles on it before I sold the bike. I will say that the nail was dead center of the tire. If it was near the edges or if I had a very soft compound tire, I probably would replace the tire, You should be good with the PR4.
  15. Big Rock closed??? Oh man, I didn't hear that. That was my favorite place to ride because it's relatively close to me and the riders there all seemed courteous and respectful. Anyone know why they closed? *EDIT* Hmmm...I guess this is why...that sucks http://www.maysville-online.com/news/local/changes-coming-to-big-rock-off-road-park/article_e23a4609-dd5c-5bf6-ad27-7d231be6ea19.html
  16. bunch of drunks there...I nearly got killed on my quad by a drunk and obviously underage teen rampaging around in a big 4x4. It appeared his rule was, I'm going where I want so get out of the way. Best bet is to get there early in the morning while the drunks are sleeping it off. I'd much rather go to Big Rock in Maysville.

    Sigh

At least you're not afraid to ask questions. That's generally where people (not gender specific) get themselves in trouble.

    Oops

Needs more close up video of the stater girl
  19. I didn't read through the whole thread...any casualties this year? I wasn't there with my cursed GoPro to bring doom upon my fellow riders so I'm guessing all went well.
