I gotcha - but its kind of a waste of money if i get a newer bike now seeing how i just put a decent amt of $$ into mine, so I can wait a bit lol The only issue i have is i feel as if thou im out growing my bike. Then again I dont track it or run it thru the twisties at redic speeds.

If this were me....I would of lunged back (away from the dog) and put my arm out and yelled very loudly "stop" etc. While at the same time I raise my gun upto his preferred hit area (chest or head). At that point while I had my arm out and yelled stop, if the said dog came at me further I would of put 3-4 rounds in him instantly. OR maybe I'd of chose to tase the dog? We can all say "thats is what I would have done" blah blah blah...but no one can really judge unless they were there having it happen to them.

I am looking for a liter bike, but I havent decided between an R1 or Gsxr 1000. My friend has an 04 R1 and could def help me w mechanical issues if I were to have any etc. Your bike is also my favorite color, has crazy low miles, and already has the PC and after market pipes. I wasn't looking to upgrade until close to the beginning of next riding season. Mine's paid off...and I'd love to have your bike...but I think my gf would flip her shit if I got one ahead of schedule...I cant decide...shit or get off the pot.....has been the phrase stewing in my head all day

Maybe I was unclear, the tire's were brand new a while ago - i "assumed" 7-10 more miles till they need replaced, there's no cupping, or abnormal wear - i always check and adjust the PSI....but i was taking a shot in the dark guess...how long should they last 5-6 or ? Regardless you can see the bike in person and it speaks for itself.

It has a ton of low end tq...but when it comes down to it, it's top end seems to be about 120-130 max. Not saying I want to haul ass, but all its power is down low, it doesnt seem to have a lot of top end power compared to a 600 or a 1000. It does handle very well thou. With mine, the only thing you'd even need to think about replacing would be the tires in about 7-10 thousand miles or so. I have taken good care of it.

Keeping ur shit clean prob helps. Buy a chain brush $10 http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Solutions-RGB800-Grunge-Brush/dp/B0012TPVC0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1372111719&sr=8-4&keywords=chain+brush and use either WD-40 or a chain cleaner - gets the chain super clean. (best to do this directally after a ride so the chain is warm) then lube it up w some chain grease ride it around for a min or two, and your done!

9 times out of 10 your not going to get railed for RO, unless ur doing 20 over and waving in-out of cars or doing something else to be a jack ass in front of the said popo

Here's what you should of done, and can use this in the future: Officer: after he has your DL, INS, and reg... (For example u were going 70 in a 55 zone) You: "Officer, I'm not sure what the speed limit was?" Cop: "The posted speed is 55 MPH" You: "Ohhh, I thought it was 65, that's why I was going 5 over" Cop: "Alrighty, but still I'm going to have to cite you" You: "since I wasnt sure of the posted speed limit is there any way you could write me a ticket for driver inattention?" OR The cop might just write u for that w/o even asking. Driver inattention might cost u about $15 more for the fine BUT.....is a NO POINTS violation. OR In your case....fight it in court and argue u thought the speed was 65 MPH and weren't "paying attention" Judge might drop it to "driver inattention" end result, no points, no insurance increase.
