  1. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/3762518917.html $8,900? That price is a lil redic if u ask me.
  2. I wonder if anybody in the cbus area would let me take their VFR for a spin...if they were on my bike riding right besides & I could prove that my insurance covered me on their bike. It would only be a mile or two ride, just want to see if I like the feel of the bike. Any takers?
  3. I saw it and sat on it when I was there last week - it had a "SOLD" sticker on it - it did look pretty nice thou, how much did they give u for it jw? They seem like they'd try to rip u off w trade in's or anything realy lol
  4. take a 0 off of that and we'll call it a deal lol
  5. From what I understand the S model of the SV have the handlebars that are much more forward, but not only that most of the VFR's come w the storage cases and would pretty much be a better touring bike overall.
  6. Want to trade + $1,500 cash? lol My bike is pretty mint for being an 05, never down, full synthetic oil, rew sprockets, chain, filter, & other mod's in sig.
  7. I just made an account for vfr world today. They have some nice bikes on there for sale, but none are near Ohio really.
  8. The bike seems to be in great conditions but I refuse to buy an older bike then what I have now lol. My price range is upto a MAX of 7k
  9. I'm not sure but probably 3.5 OBO. It's pretty much mint condition 9/10. I just repalced sprockets (sun star), chain (sun star). Tires are at about 70% tread life, no rust, pads/discs are still good.
  10. I’ve been riding a little over a year & I own a Suzuki SV650s. I LOVE my bike but with the riding position being so forward - riding for more than 1+ hour at a time is not very fun. I would like to join the OR group ride in the beginning of May this year, but I don’t think my back or wrists could handle it. Being that said I was highly interested in the Honda VFR 800 due to it being more of a touring bike. The VFR is slightly faster then my current bike, very well made, and is very low maintenance. From what I’m told and have researched it’s everything my current bike is and better. The only draw back is the 100-150lb weight difference & it handles (obviously) like a heavier bike. I will be selling my bike or trading it, I will be looking to buy one after this riding season (unless I find a hell of a deal now, which I doubt). Due to VFR’s being a rarer bike then most, there is a chance I may have to settle on something similar. I’m always open to suggestions, does anybody have any? Or if anybody knows somebody with a VFR – please let me know.
  11. http://www.suzukipartshouse.com/oemparts/a/suz/508c86eff8700220a83120ad/handle-lever-model-k3-k4-k5-k6 What I need is #11 - where the cable going into the assembly is stripped, Hoblick realized this while trying to put my clutch cable back on after he replaced my sprockets/chain. It's making it impossible to adjust the clutch cable and down shifting is a bitch & it's nearly impossible to get into neutral from 1st gear (while rolling upto a stop). Does anybody know where I can get one that will work in Columbus area? Already tried Iron Pony. They dont have any in stock and it would cost about $40 for replacement. While I was there i did buy a universal one, but it did not fit. If anybody has a used one that they think will fit or know of anybody in the area who has an OEM one - please PM me. It's in my sig, but I have an 05 Suzuki SV650S.
