Would they be safer street use? I may pass them along to somebody else for free. I have some pilot powers ready to rock.

Did they say what causes it? I had em hot and was thumping on them pretty well.

I have these strange wear marks about 12 inches apart running across the left side of my tire. They are on the right hand side too but much smaller. The exact spacing between makes me wonder if its something going wrong with the tire itself more than an actual wear pattern. This rubber has 3 track days on it. Anybody have any idea what that is?

I ran my 2009 Busa out there and got pretty quick in novice. Stock tires and suspension. I set the sag and that was about it. It was a blast. I smoked my OEM pads on the second day so that is the only thing you may have to replace/upgrade. I used EBC Extreme Pro pads and they did great. Stopping a 550lb rocket off the back straight is no small chore. I broke down and got a track bike because I didn't want to thrash my nice bike. Don't worry too much about speed and pace. The coach will set that for you. At days end they will turn you loose to play alone and you will know your limits by then. Do it once and you will never look back. Here is a little inspiration, do not mind my horrible body positioning.

Sweet. Thanks for the ideas! I will try a suction cup since I already have one and work from there.

I got my boots. Somehow They ended up in my garage. I was a big tough guy to until I saw the needle come out. I have never had an IV. It could have been way worse though. My ankle is good to walk on now. I went to work the next day and sold a few cars!

The lift was much appreciated too. It was all good until my adrenaline cut out.

Thanks man! I was hauling ass and thought I was a little better than was. I'm going to put on some better rubber and readjust my suspension. My front was pushing all night. Mid Ohio just called and said with a doctors note I can reschedule all my track days, plus they have my glove!

Some of the guys are more thorough than others. As long as you have descent tread left you should be fine.

I did my own photography with my go-pro. Instructions as follows...tuck front end flying into turn 10, tumble across pavement like a frozen turkey shot out if a cannon, have bike/camera spin around in the grass to catch the whole ordeal. Have corrective wrist surgery and repeat in August. Funny thing is my left hand sticking out in the pic is what slammed into the ground during my tumble and broke my wrist.

I have a new gopro and so far I have a mount on the tail to check body positioning, on the helmet, and on the front under the windshield. I want to put one on my triple tree so I can check my speed into and exiting corners for consistency. Do you have to have a special mount or can I just put a sticky mount on the tree and run with it? Looking for suggestions.

Hey now...fly paint > than stopping off the back straight any day.

Thanks man! How's next month looking for a track day? I can run Tuesdays only for now. I was going today but had a bent rotor I figured out at the last second>:-0
-
Corey has a rotor on the way. That place is legit. He measures it for me and double checked it for straightness before he shipped it. It'll be here in a day or two. He's my new parts guy! Thanks for your help guys.

That's it. I roll it and lose it. I thought it was overnight at first but when I was backing it out of the garage I noticed it lost all feel, then rolling to a different spot brought it back. Well, I learned something new today and time to go buy some new rotors. If any of you have rotors for a 2007 GSXR 750 PM me. Track day was scheduled and paid for too

All finished

I was wrong. The drivers left rotor looks bent when I spin it. The right is fine. I marked where the lever goes in relation to the rotor and there is a spot where I hit it when it wrecked. Would that cause it.
-
Rotors are straight, no leaks anywhere, and yes when I pump it up it gets harder. I go from 0 brakes to about half with a few pumps. Idk how I can run that much fluid and there is still air somewhere though. I'm going to try again. I would do the zip tie but I need to roll early on the morning and want to get it resolved tonight.

I am getting ready to hit Mid Ohio tomorrow and need some help. I wrecked my Gixxer last year and the bike went on its side and I believe sucked air into the front brake lines. All the fluid pushed to one side and left the air pocket where the fluid is pulled from. No big deal, I thought. So I bleed my brakes about a month ago and everything feels great. Bubbles came out, and the lever got a nice feel to it. I let it sit for awhile and jumped on it to move it and again the lever fell right to the grip and no front brakes. I bled them again thinking I missed something. Last night they were fine. I jump on it today and it feels great. I roll it out of my garage backwards and the second it hit the drive way slope the lever went right to the grip again and no front brakes. I'm perplexed here. I've run a pint of fluid and bled the reservoir and both calipers repeatedly. Any ideas or is there something I'm missing? The reservoir is not damaged from the wreck nor are the brake lines.

I'm ready to rock for Tuesday. I got a new job so Mondays will be tough. I'm stoked to get back out there.

So far so good. It's got a ton of dust in it. I will wet sand the gloss black and get rid of the orange peel and grit. All in all not too bad for my first time around.
-
You gonna be out at Mid O next week?
-
Here is the start if it. Thanks for all your help guys. I didn't spend time grinding out every rock chip and I painted at night, so there are a few bugs that snuck into my garage and on the paint. I learned a lot about what I need to do next time to make it perfect and what filler primer will and will not cover I'm shooting an orange and then taping it off and shooting black so it'll be an accent color. Black base going on today. I will post up pics later. I only had one run though! Not bad for a first timer. There is more orange peel than I'd like but I'm sure that's due to me not knowing how to use the gun, pressure, etc.
