  1. This. Stuff I wear is the only thing I won't buy on the Internet. Go to store, find what you like and the size, and THEN Nathan!
  2. Free bump because of jealousy. Before I moved into this apartment, and before I broke the hot tub's motor, the one at my house was *ahhh* Nothing better than a hot tub through winter!
  3. Holy hell, how did I miss this thread until now? Nice work. That bike is going to be The Sex once you get it out.
  4. Are you available any time soon? The one for $8.99 has some bad reviews when it comes to anything past wood, but the ~$25 one has awesome reviews. That's definitely doable!
  5. Do you have an example product online? I'm assuming it's a mechanical one, not electrical. All I can find are electrical ones that are, at lowest, $50.
  6. Will go out and try that, simply because the graphite didn't seem to make much of a difference anyways. I REALLY hope I don't have to take apart the barrel and that a new key will solve it. Or this drowning thing...
  7. Darn. Was hoping a dremel wouldn't be needed. At least it's something I can re-use, I guess... Looks like I'll be spending $200 tomorrow on a dremel and drill and bits. There's no way I'd be able to hand-crank that screw with how tight it is. I am getting a new key cut on Monday hopefully. Very much hoping that that's all that's needed, but if the key was the issue I wouldn't think I'd be able to turn the ignition at all.
  8. So I went off to ride the other day. Great ride, great day. Only trouble is, before I left I realized that my ignition would not turn to "Off" or "Lock." It would go to "Park" (if that's what the P with lights is), and so whenever I shut the bike off I went to that. In fact, it's in "P" right now (if I can't figure this out I'll just rip the battery until I do figure it out.) I sprayed some WD-40 and apparently that's not good enough of a fix; nor is graphite powder that I squirted in. The key, ever since I got it, has been a bit bent. Not extremely, but the end of it is noticeably not straight. It's always worked better when I put it in with the bent portion facing a certain direction - the other direction and it's a bit harder to turn. Any ideas on how the hell this could happen? Something in between Off and On or something? Pushing harder gives no better effect, so I think that forcing it MIGHT be more likely to just have the key break off inside the ignition. I are confused. I also have 2 hex screws that are rounded-out at the top (one on the front and one on the rear caliper) that I can't for the life of me figure out a way to get out. I've tried pliers since they stick out a little bit, and that got nowhere. I'm almost tempted to buy a drill, was planning to anyways, and drill a hole in the middle of the screws. I'd rather not, though, lest I accidentally strip them. Any ideas? Or anybody near Dayton care to let me come over and help me out? I've been able to figure everything else out up to this point on the bike, but these two littlest things suck.
  9. Do you actually have the 5, or just used it? I was wary of the iPhone 5's screen when I bought it a few weeks ago, but the form factor is actually really good in my eyes after using it for a while. The S3's size was also nice, of course.
  10. Vereh nice. I wish any rep I've ever talked to at Verizon would be that awesome. They always seem to try and screw me around as much as possible. Is that unlimited line on the Share Everything somehow, or do you still pay the $30/month for it?
  11. Galaxy S3 was BY FAR my favorite Droid phone ever. And I've had 4 or 5 different Droids. But... Now I have an iPhone 5 and am loving it. Hated my iPhone 4, but iCloud is fantastic.

I'd like to point out that he said nothing about being nice to scooters.
  13. Don't be an idiot and you'll be okay. I started on my ZX6R (636 cc) and have progressed to the point of being able to keep up with the faster groups within about 2 years. Now I'm kind of planning on buying a cheap 250 to screw around on.

Alright, so I don't know if The Weather Channel app is just trying to lie to me or what, but the rain is looking less likely tomorrow. If they're right, I am definitely making a day trip down to the NKY area. Anybody care to meet up? I'll probably be heading down fairly early.
  15. This. It seems a lot of people go out of their way just to NOT take any formal classes on motorcycle riding. Anybody that I've met from a forum or that has taken the MSF course seems to always have their head on the right way when it comes to riding. Congrats on the completion!
  16. Happily sitting in my high school minimum wage bubble. ..that's pretty depressing.
  17. Missed opportunity to pull a Silence of the Lamb.
  18. I almost went with the 2CTs, but what Michelin is saying about the new Pilot Power 3's sold me on those. LOVING them.
  19. I love Vista - great guys for any trusted service. I hang out with their mechanics for bike nights, rides, etc. BUT they also just raised their price to $80/hour a few days ago and now to mount and balance there is like $50/$60/tire if you bring your own. They do price match tires, though, and will mount them for like half that if you buy it from them. That's my plan for next time. (No chance of a blem AND decently-priced mount. Double-win.)
  20. It's not the longest ride ever, but 9 hours of riding isn't exactly short either! Completely worth it for the KY roads. You already know I'm in for this, Dice! (Put it in my Calendar after our ride Sat.)
  21. "Wut are thees weerd rocker arms?" But then there's that Duc sound. No joke. Until 11:59 tonight, at least...
  22. But.. but.. it's a soap opera WITH DRAGONS.
  23. Khaleesi.. My god..
