Ok, don't hate him anymore. Did you know he used to work for my kid?

Don't hate him, he's a good kid.  It's difficult to get bumped from my list but it happens occasionally...

Yes, he asked me how I knew you last time I saw him and told me he had worked for your son.

Thanks, but I don't think that would be "safe"...  lol

Dang, I thought I was one of those people. That Tristian guy bumped me out didn't he. I hate that guy.

IP has boatloads of one piece in the 500 range. Might at least help narrow down the size. Sizing sucked, I tried on 3 of them before I got it right. Still lose in the hips since I dont have any but zipped together the jacket holds it up.

No, Tristan didn't bump you, you are still one of those people.  I have someone working on finding me a suit, she measured me and will see what works for my amazonedness.  Unlike you I have hips, but I'm not built like a square like most men, so men's suits don't fit exactly right, except in length so we'll see was happens.  Luckily the season is winding down, so I have plenty of time to search for this holy grail of suits... lol

@tall_tracy I have plenty of suits and price points. Just trying to find one that fits you is the hard part. Shoot me a call or PM if I can help.

Thanks Mike.  Yes, sizing is my biggest challenge, that's why I have someone local helping me with it.

I've got my people looking for me - it's gonna be a challenge to find a suit for my amazon stature but I have my fingers crossed that they can find something that fits.  I really want a one piece but having a long torso combined with being so tall makes it that much more difficult, luckily I have all winter to search...

    Hahaha... nah, I'm not really a G S X R kind of girl.

Cut down to 1 Starbucks a day instead of 2 and that would generate 2 grand in a year easy. 2K will get you a decent track bike.

Yeah but right now 2K is going towards a suit and hopefully new rearsets...  I need to find a track day investor...

check for used aftermarket or see if stock rearsets from one of the ducati sportbikes fit your monster.

I've been searching for used stock one that I could have modified... the aftermarket ones are $1k...

I talked to the talked to the owner of the Ducati dealership to find out what options I have - not much really - turns out I guess I should have bought a 1200 instead of the 821... lol

Regarding the rearsets, I'm not sure how much they move you back and up, spent about 2 weeks on stock ones so I can't remember.  (Got them for grip and to try out GP shift pattern)  First novice track day this year our coach was on my ass about foot position. Said to get almost on the outside of the peg.  That's probably him exaggerating trying to get me to move that way, but I haven't hit my toes since.

I had issues with my rearsets at the track but my bike isn't necessarily set up for track days...

I'm working on getting my own suit so I can do more track days in the future, as well as looking for a rearset solution bc the passenger pegs are causing some of the issue, but Ducati = super expensive aftermarket rearsets for my Monster.  :nono:

  7. @Tonik.... Well the car is packed, and my bike is riding to the track with a Panigale R, maybe she'll pick up some pointers on the way... lol

I'll post pics on FB and Instagram at some point... I'm kinda done here on OR.

  8. I had an R6 which I sold bc it was so uncomfortable...  I loved it but after about an hour or so, I wanted to get off of it so badly I couldn't really take it on all day rides.  I had a 2006 and had no issues with the bike at all in the 2 years I had it.  Now I'm pretty tall and found the leg room cramped as well as pain in my wrists after a short time, but man it was fast and it made me smile just like you did on the test ride.  I was sad to see it go, but there's no way I could have taken it out of state like I did with my Monster.  Maybe you need to look at other/bigger bikes with upright ergo's?  Maybe look for other demo's to see if a super sport is really what you want?

    Good luck in your search!!

How did it go @tall_tracy ? We need deets, pics and video damn it. Grande Mocha?

I didn't realize it was today or I would have come out, thought it was Monday. Would have been way cooler than painting the garage.

The track day isn't until 9/11, so I have another week to get everything ready to go.  I've been loaned a suit and transport so that I don't have to ride to/from the track.  Now it's just a matter of waiting until next weekend to get the bike prepared.

And I'll definitely have some pics, etc.  Hopefully someone will get some pics of me in action too...you know drinking a venti carmel macchiato whilst standing next to my bike...

I'm so mad that I will be out of town these days. I really wanted to ride there this year.

I'll be there next Monday... Ron already gave me his version of how/what to do.  lol

It's a Ducati event so I hope there'll be Starbucks in between sessions...

Technically a matter-reassembler, but yes that may be the best option. The only drawback is you die and your clone gets to watch the rest of the race. But then your clone dies when it/you leave the infield and is replaced by yet another clone so that's pretty close to the instant karma it deserved for stealing your life and mindlessly enjoying what you (god rest your soul) wanted to watch in the first place.

What about those tubes that banks use?? It'd just suck people over to the other side.

alright which one of you fuckers picked the hypermotard up?  i was on my way home from a long trip and couldn't check it out til today, but it's goooooone.  hate your face

I saw that bike but then wondered about the valve service intervals on it... and my want for a Grom is slightly greater than the want for a Motard...
