I will say... going fast on a naked sucks.  The wind just beats you to death.  Especially after 500 miles.  I'd rather go 500 miles on a superbike than a naked.  Just my opinion.

I did 1300 miles on my Monster averaging about 80 mph... when it got too windy, I just tucked, problem solved.  I'd do it again, no hesitation.  I wouldn't want to do anything like that on a supersport, ever.

It doesn't exist. You imaged it.

Honestly, I was about to place an order, but got hung up on the last consideration: color. So I thought a few opinions would fix that. Like good and bad reviews, people tend to speak up about what they love or hate so I thought it would be painless. Wrong again! haha

Maybe this forum could use a noob-friendly section where silly, basic questions are OK? A safe, happy place? haha

This is OR --- there is no safe place.  :boxing::bitchfight:

Thinking you should pirate up for the occasion and get your fringe on as well.

Ugh, I hate fringe.  If only my hair was longer so I could braid my ponytail, wear a spaghetti strap tank top, some tight mom jeans with a thick-soled chunky-heeled non-riding boots, and finger-less gloves... and paint my bike all black...

Rode to work this morning, nice brisk 52 degrees. Sitting here looking at camping gear. The idea of moto-camping sounds like fun, but camping gear selection is just overwhelming.

Moto camping is awesome and I felt overwhelmed getting ready for my trip too.  I needed a small tent since my others are huge and a sleeping bag.  Look for stuff that packs small and is on sale/clearance.  There's a ton of stuff to choose from...

Does it not show all photos there? If not, then the best I can offer is to report the photo(s) you want deleted and we'll take care of it.

No, it only shows photos I've posted in threads, but no worries, I've deleted my albums so I'm good to go.

    Thanks!!!

Okay, so this is a limitation in the software. That's shitty. Hopefully it's fixed soon. There's already a request for this ability to be added. In the meantime, you can go to My Attachments and delete from there. Additionally, I've given everyone the ability to delete their own albums.

But... anything listed in "My Attachments" are photos that were included in specific posts, not photos in an Album.  :dunno:

That shouldn't be the case. I'll take a look. Probably Tonik's fault.

Ooooo, I can't agree w that, I don't want to be banned from Epic donuts or get run over by a hate train or anything in the future...

    Tracy,

Before a ride ask if anyone would mind following you for a few miles and giving you some feedback.  I've done this for lots of people (some on this board), pretty sure UP has also.

After just a couple miles of curves, I guarantee I can give you some pointers that will have you riding smoother, safer, and more confidently by the end of the day.

I did this on my last group ride.

If I wasnt married I'd follow her everywhere like a puppy dog. Or a dirty old man, take your pick.

    Thanks. ?

  9. How do I delete pictures or albums?  There is no option to do so within the album, no matter how you choose to view the image (i.e. thumbnail, etc).  And I've tried on a Windows PC as well as an IPad with no success...?????

    TIA

Just ride at your own pace and don't worry about what other people are doing.  Everyone rides at their own level

Yes, but if that was the case I'd never get better.  Being pushed ever so slightly out of my comfort zone helps me see that I can go a little faster.  And whenever I have someone riding behind me, when I get the chance I always ask them if there's anything they think I can do better (this pertains to experienced riders following me).

And I'm speaking to riding curvy roads, not the ones near our house.
