Wow, you really got your money's worth at that show! I enjoy watching the awards shows to see who can actually perform live and who cannot.

So disappointing... They always sound amazing. I particularly liked the guy in the band with the crazy mustache when they performed.

Thanks! And you are absolutely right about the wind, I think that was the craziest part of the whole thing. I just tried to keep calm and not stress out over it, but there were times that I was worried that I was gonna be blown off the road...

I went riding with a friend today - it's fun to ride with someone other than me, myself & I. Unfortunately(or maybe fortunately) my friend's bike tends to overheat so it cannot tolerate a lot of city streets with stop & go traffic. So after stopping to eat and catch up with each other, he tells me we're trying out the highway... I haven't done that yet UNTIL today. I'm so excited & proud of myself for finally doing it. Yay!!! I'm glad my friend nudged me to do it, and stayed close to make sure I was okay. That is all, I just wanted to share my good news!!

Have you looked at the Ninja 650? The seat height between the 300(30.9) & the 650(31.7) isn't much, and I understand that since you aren't freakishly tall like me, the smallest measure can be a big difference. I don't know anything about lowering a bike, but hopefully you have options so that you don't have to settle and can instead choose what you want/like. I LOVE my 650. Good luck with your sale & your search for a new bike!
