You know that President Obama is swimming up stream when Maureen Dowd writes this:

How did we get here? How did we go from the "dreamy" Obama of the campaign to the exhausted man of today?
In 2007-08, candidate Obama was given a free pass on issue after issue by people like Maureen Dowd. They were so eager to replace Bush that they hitched their wagon to the biggest anti-Bush of all.
He was going to close Guantanamo but nobody in the press asked: "Where are you going to send the people there"?
He was going to bring the world together but nobody asked: "Can you give us an example of how you brought people together at any time in your life or career?" Winning a minority senate district in Chicago or speaking at a left wing Iraq war rally in 2002 are not examples of anything difficult.
He was going to be transparent but nobody asked: "Why did you walk away from public funds and finance your campaign with private donations"?
He promised to fight for immigration reform but no one in the Spanish speaking media asked: "Why did you kill McCain-Kennedy with amendments favoring the unions"?
He spoke about public education but nobody asked: "Why did you send your daughters to private schools in Chicago?"
He made a bunch of promises and no one challenged him. He is now facing reality and not enjoying it.
Even Maureen Dowd can't take it anymore.

we (me and some other contractors casually talking) have seen an increase in prick inspections. not so much for the ones who've been around, but driving around and LOOKING for home improvements homeowners did without getting the nece$$ary permits
like dead water heaters sitting on the curb, piles of remodeling materials disguised at street curb trash...
hard times, counties wanting to generate income
medina county, medina police department has a facebook page and a year ago or so they took a ton of heat for asking the good citizens to report broken windows, folks who blew grass into the street etc..
nothing to do with crime and all to do with sign ze papers good citizen

too far for me, but make sure, the electrician you hire is state certified.
Insurance companies WILL screw you if someone gets hurt, or property damage is high and they find out you didn't meet state codes or joe lunchbox just bolted stuff together.
Like they recently changed the grounding for outdoor above ground pools- and if I'm not mistaken something about grounding the power source inside the house where you run to the pool. Last one we did was early summer. thats two I can recall off the top of my head.

most shops charge 20-25 bucks, shipping/insurance would be around 20 give or take.
You could pay the gas, eat lunch and still have some left over. with a + of instant inspection.

Since the last update the site has ran slow on my computer and I know it's partly my computer. But, can someone tell me for referance how long the gif of the boy shooting the basketball off the trampoline, in the post above, takes to play from start to finish?
It takes 3 minutes and 7 seconds for me to watch from start to end.

Mine was on sale at the ironpony- like 240ish bucks. I like it. Wanted the dayglo green one. but size
ONLY complaints: had to use 3M gorrilla weather strip adhesive to permanently fix the various liner items. Had to tweak the windscreen mounting brackets (two either side) to ensure weather tight seal.
I got a big punkin head, like a size 8+ hard to find helmets that fit well enough I dont mind wearing them for 4-5 hours

I bought three and paid to have them mailed to me after I noticed the first two I bought were deleted out of the PM box.
I hope this was legit, I searched thoroughly and couldn't find any mention of any businesses in Lancaster running the raffle,
Honestly I would have bought 5 tickets, and been able to sell more- we spend a couple of hundred on raffles locally- if there were a visible internet presence.
