  1. wait, I'm figuring it out...if my 9 oclock had been on time, I'd wouldn't be sucked into this, but let me just give it a shot

...Let me get this straight, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and a former anti-war protester get together to start a war for no reason. They set a red line to help our enemy who are Muslim extremists.

The red line is promptly crossed, so they set another one which is crossed again.

We are told they did not really set a red line, but rather we did.

They provide evidence of our red line being crossed without providing anything.

We find out that we are really mercenary whores for the Arabs who must sacrifice our soldiers because it's all paid for.

Then for moral leadership they make an equivalent comparison to the sacrifices our soldiers made during World War II to shame us into action. Another enemy - the Russians - try to talk some sense into us to help us out, but they won't listen because the Russians can't be trusted.

The lead RINO in charge is so morally committed to this cause that during the hearings he gambles over $1000 in virtual online poker money and loses. Then he laughs and jokes about it.

Personally, I am inspired by this leadership and think you all are a bunch of homos for not supporting this war. Only homos and commies don't want to go to war, homos.

  2. His facebook status, august 22nd Verbatim

"WHAT THE FUCK AMERICA? Are we going to let Syria's Government use chemical weapons on kids and women. More than 100,000 dead and the displacement of over 1,000,000 Syrian civilians. How about we stand up for what's right... Write your Senators and Congress members and tell them you want troops on ground in Syria..

He is under-informed, and sounds rather excitable.

Those numbers are the total of the Civil war since it started- and those are suspect, World health org says 50,000, and thats too many, but, its a CIVIL war.

Your excitable cousin wants us to believe that 100,000 civi's have been gassed. And that led to the displacement of a million?

Where is he on the genocide in Africa that goes on...constantly....for the last 50 years? boots on the ground there too?

Mag, you're what, 25? why aren't YOU enlisted? (I'm 55, too young for the one in the 70's and too old for the ones in the 80's)

I don't have the facts, as I've stated in several of my replies...

    Gold, solid gold, LOL

  3. amazing how much info we casually post.

birth-years shouldn't be posted in your profile.

Jus' sayin'; a public service announcement from someone who had their ID stolen once and what a pain it is to fix it.

different user names on various sites helps too.

same name, on a dozen other websites, its easy to create enough to stick it to someone in less than 15 minutes of googling

  4. My cousin is currently serving (in hawaii at the moment) and He's 100% for a full on invasion...

Are you an enlisted man? No, then why do YOU have an opinion?

I would love to see that email.

half my customers are military in various branches, various levels. and NONE of them want SHIT to do with it!

I work for contractors, and one of those guys, and about a third of his crew are either retired or inactive military...and none of them want shit to do with it either.

I'd expand and say 2 friends are in the UK, serving proudly with the brits.....and NONE of them want shit to do with it either.

THIS JUST IN: oh SNAP--Putin called Kerry...a LIAR

oh hell, next one down, Secretary Kerry: No Place for Benghazi in Syria Debate

    the news is on fire

    Obama Shrugged

and Kerry is hellbent on swiftboating the US along with himself on this one.
  5. Alan West says:

Listening to President Obama in Sweden saying he never set a red line and that his credibility isn't on the line, but rather the credibility of America, Congress, and the International community. It never ceases to amaze me how Obama never takes any responsibility for his actions. He is the leader of the United States of America and he sets the tone, not Joe and Jane. As a leader, he did nothing for all these months and now wants to enjoin everyone in his abject failure and abdication of accountability. I am not buying into Obama's weak attempt of guilt-tripping us. Mr. President, you have not earned anyone's respect to follow you, May I remind you of the result of your unilateral actions in Libya? Also, is it not perplexing that within the last 6 years, Pelosi, Kerry, and Hillary Clinton all sat with and praised Assad, but now they want to blow him up?

  6. I have to admit I am perplexed by the logic or lack there of in this decision. I think I understand Obama's drive and agenda to help the Muslim Brotherhood at every instant, even though I fail to see or fathom his motivation. But what really baffles me is the insistence of this administration to provide aid to our enemies, as was done in Libya and Egypt.

Helping to defeat Assad in anyway is a victory for Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. In the off-chance we actually took out key Assad leaders or Assad himself, who secures the chems?

Russia is openly allied with Assad and even if we don't like it, do we risk turning the heat up with the Russians over this?

And finally, can someone for the love of fucking PETE, please show me some evidence that proves without a doubt that it was Assad who ordered the chem attack, while he was busy winning against the rebels, and that it wasn't the rebels who have everything to gain from a huge fucking blunder like this chem attack that actually managed it?
  7.

92% of americans supported stricter background checks... We all know which lobby bought that argument...

when asked do americans support background checks, the answer is overwhelmingly yes.

when asked do americans thing additional laws covering essentially the same thing would help, or have stopped the sandy hook massacre,  the answer was no.

hence the lobby- wasn't purchased, it was logic.

syria is not logic. its obama doing his best to make them take back that Nobel

  8. Words mean things....

A mercenary is a person who takes part in an armed conflict, who is not a national or a party to the conflict and is "motivated to take part in the hostilities essentially by the desire for private gain and, in fact, is promised, by or on behalf of a party to the conflict, material compensation substantially in excess of that promised or paid to combatants of similar ranks and functions in the armed forces of that Party"

Neither side is paying us... we're motivated by enforcing laws that the global community has agreed upon...

Your reading comprehension is limited. when other nations state specifically that they will pay the entirety of killing off a government, what the fuck does that mean then?

"Secretary of State John Kerry said at Wednesday’s hearing that Arab counties have offered to pay for the entirety of unseating President Bashar al-Assad if the United States took the lead militarily."

  9.

firing a few missiles at their military installations makes the most sense in response to what is becoming a clear violation of the geneva convention regarding the use of chemical weapons.

One year ago, quite likely the same group of supporters attacked, and killed members of our military. Now, one year later, obama is offering to become their air force, and russia said it wont quit sending surface to air defense missiles to syria...what could possibly  go wrong?

  10. Nothing like fair and balanced news agency's blindly supporting an administration...

    http://friendsofsyria.co/2013/09/01/cnn-caught-staging-news-segments-on-syria-with-actors/

    oh snap

Anderson Cooper and CNN have been caught staging fake news about Syria to justify military intervention.

The primary “witness” that the mainstream media is using as a source in Syria has been caught staging fake news segments.  Recent video evidence proves that “Syria Danny”, the supposed activist who has been begging for military intervention on CNN, is really just a paid actor and a liar.

  11. Bless all those who get to hunt. even the immigrants, buy the tags, buy the guns, take the time.

I saw a butt load of spanish (?) looking types two years ago out by the grand river. it was awesome. tons of kids were with them

THATS how we keep the sport going- they'd hustle the kids out to get any birds that dropped. We barely got a shot due to the noise and scattered goings on with those kids, parents watching them, but who cares, it was good to see families going hunting.

got to get out and get some dove this fall...mmmm mmmm good

  12. Hmm, how coincidental, m'eh, probably just me...but this is nearly the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack. Where was this troop of rescuers then?

Tuesday's CBS This Morning spotlighted the upcoming one-year anniversary of the Islamist attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya, but whitewashed the role of President Obama and his administration, including that of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Anchors Charlie Rose, Norah O'Donnell, and Gayle King didn't once mention Obama or Clinton's name during an interview segment with author Fred Burton.

a year ago, they killed some of us, now we're going to be helping them fight their enemy.
jus' me, or theres some irony here?

remember when John Kerry said  "How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?"

Near the end of the end of the segment, Rose raised the issue of whether the incident was a "planned attack and not a surprise", but like his colleagues, didn't specifically mention that U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice had claimed that the assault was a "spontaneous - not a pre-meditated response" eight days later on several Sunday morning shows. CBS senior correspondent John Miller also hinted that Ambassador Chris Stevens was partially at fault:

JOHN MILLER: ...You've got an ambassador who wants to travel. It's September 11th. It's a symbolic day for threats. And this is very typical of the Diplomatic Security Service. They're a small agency with...a very limited number of people covering 450 outposts. And usually, there is (sic) two of them – or just a handful – in a high-threat place to cover a threat like that. When the ambassador says, I want to go from Tripoli to Benghazi, nobody gets to say, well, sir, that's a bad day for that. We can't let you do that. They just mount up and go. And this is part of that story.
  13. quick question for the pro obama types, Say, congress says stfu, no- will he override with an executive order? NO president has never been denied. He's close.

What then? He launches any how with an exec order-

Putin just fell short of demanding to see the "evidence".

And how ironic as has been pointed out, that these are possibly the WMD's the UN an Bush were looking for.
