  1. Welcome. I am not to far from you in Springfield. I have cruised around that area a little bit. Not to much in the way of twisties around there that i am aware of.  One loop i like to make up there is 245 west over to 29 into urbana then take 55 into terra hutte. If you have a half day to kill for riding take 41 south out of Springfield down towards the ohio river. The best section of 41 is between Washington court house and about 15 miles on the other side of Bainbridge.

  2. Alright 4 wheeler guys i got one for ya. So i need to replace the clutch spider buttons on my 96 500 sportsman. Problem is that i didnt mark the cover, spider or the housing( or clutch basket or what ever its called). I didnt notice any balance issues or vibration before. So my question is there a factory mark to line everthing back up or is there a home brew way to make it work. The 4 wheeler was given to me last year and have been putting quite a bit of money into this thing and now i am just trying to stop the bleeding.

I am not stable... I am girl which makes me crazy.

I can't right now with school starting soon. I can back seat mod if Hellmutt wants to try his hand at it... And if he keeps his ears on he will hear me tell him where to turn ( sometimes I am actually right, 1 out of 2 times).

Thank you Doc for thinking of us.

I say if hellmutt  says goes right and @snot says go left. We should split the difference and see where we end up.

Loved the Prowlers, they looked so bad ass. But jackwagon engineers put a V-6 in it? Ouch

I agree.   With all the cookie cutter cars that are running around the prowler had that retro cool look to them that no one else had.  Slap a turbo on one those things, some grippy tires and a exhaust i am sure you can have a lil street beast.

  5. I am a fan of e85 from a performance stand point.  I am getting ready to start my blown 3800 build and i,am going to a e85 setup. I can run more timimg and  boost with e85 that's available at the pump and at a fraction of the cost of turbo blue.  But the lower cost per gallon of running e85 is offset by the amount of more fuel than is required for it in run in any engine witch is about 20 to30% more fuel per cylinder.

  6. If you have the mechanical know how to c,notch mount and run air lines and mod the control arms if need,ed i would so go for it.  I havent air bagged a truck my self but i have seen it done a few times not to difficult just a lot of labor involved.  The look of a bagged truck looks pretty sick in my opinion.  Best of luck.

  7. I would like to join. I rode 550 a couple weeks ago and would of liked to hit a few others.  About what time will you be on 78 or even 550. Its about a 1 1/2 slab ride for me plus i will have a couple of newbies in tow so i hope i pace isnt to fast for them but fast enough to enjoy on the sport bike

  8. Well put in the new plugs and presto bike fired up. Did notice that the spark was thin  but hey it started. What should the idle be at. It wants to be at 1000 but kills it shelf. Might be due to the weak sprark because i notice a little studder during take off.
