  1. With key on i never heard any pump priming.  Removed both plugs and cranked for sprark. Front plug had a thin white bluish spark and wouldn't jump to the center electrode every time most the time it jumped to the outside edge of the plug. The rear was a different story. No spark at all on the rear at first. Pulled the ground strap back and cleaned the strap and electrode and closed the gap down to about .025 just to see if they would light. The rear then started to spark but no better than the front plug. Threw them back in to see if it would fire. It kinda tried but no luck. Told my buddy to bring me a set of plugs and we will start fresh. I would say they looked to be gapped about 40-50 thousands any one know about the gap size? Also while cranking it does puff gas a gas and fuel mixture so i am not worried about that yet.

  3. Just found out that scammers tryed to hit my debit card for 629$ at a sporting goods store in the uk.  Funny thing is i have need been in the uk let alone a sporting goods store.   At this rate with scammers and hackers were going to have to go back to cash, paper checks , and carrier piegons.

Wear a hard hat next time...

Hope you heal fast. I learned a long time ago to pay attention to where my head is. I split my eyebrow hitting the snooze button once...

I have several of you beat on that. Had a 35 pound 20,ton hydrologic jack with about 5.000 pounds on it pop out and smack me in my head above my right eye. Funny thing was i never got a headache.

  6. The day i stopped by after you guys rode it did you notice it making this sound?. I know we disused how rich it smelled and how crappy it ran. I think a little background info might be insightful for people trying to chime in. Lets start with what i somewhat know about it. It sat for several years with less than 30.000 miles on the motor. When you got it home how many miles did you put on it and did you change the oil or still running on whats in when you got it? That noise i would agree doesnt sound like valves i can also hear them clicking. And the basket noise i mean yeah it could be i also had a 85 fz 600 that did the same thing but yours sounds like a deep tone knock. I hope that the worse hasnt happen as in the main jet stuck dumped fuel in the cylinder and has washed down the oil and now you have a bottom end knock.  But that is a worse case sanarao. But yeah lett someone a little more savy than you and myself check it out before you need a new old bike

Because an inexperienced parts counterman would take quite a bit of time just to get acquainted with the workings of a motorcycle to better understand where to even find the parts needed, not to mention knowledge of the vast aftermarket options that are available.  Parts counter work, at the right dealership, is a busy position - so needing ground-up training would be time consuming and steal away more of their coworkers time.

Nothing wrong with wanting to hire experienced personnel, makes the transition easier on the dealership, the new hire, and the other employees.

^^^^^  This is coming from one of the best parts guys i have ever had the privilege of dealing with. No joke

  8. Thank you guys for all your info and insight. Jack lives down the road from me and i am going to try and have him stop by and check it out. Remember its my girlfriends computer and i have to talk her into letting someone else finger it ( minds out the gutter boys the computer not my girlfriend). If that dont pan out i will be back on here taking your suggestions. I would rater not try to dive into something i am not to savy it.

  9. Ok so my girlfriend bought a hp all in one computer about 2 years ago. The sole purpose of this computer is for her to use it for her online school and web surf. With that in mind we go best buy and quiz the salesman about our needs and he assures it will meet our demands. I am anything but computer knowledgeable but i do know enough that when you click from one program to the next it shouldn't lock up and/or take 1-2 mins to perform a task. We had geek squad support and i had them do a remote link to look into why it runs so freaking slow. Nothing they did worked this thing has me very ticked off hell even the screen saver stops spining the windows 8 logo. I am willing to let someone remote link into to take a gander for as i would not have a clue. And no there is no porn on There i know thats like poison on the computer plus any female can sniff stuff lime that out

I so want a three car garage. But having no house payment is just too damn cool to give up.

I am curious how does one get in that position?  Good investments, flip houses find a killer deal on a house lucky loto ticket? I am not hating or jealous i would like to also be in that position in my life one day. But at this rate it looks like i will be in my 70s. 170s that is.
