Still $1000 for OhioRiders or anyone you know.

Quoting the post is perfect right away if a quote is
what I want to do in the same thread. If I just want
to refer back to the information, or carry the post
into another thread, I need to find it after memory
has faded over a week or so. Copy and paste works
for putting it into another thread if I want to do that.
I simply want to easily find what I have read in the
past and can jot down the post number if I know I'm
going to be coming back to it.

It would be a nice feature to be able to create drawings or diagrams in posts
so that things like accidents and accident avoidance, performance riding, etc.
could be easily illustrated and discussed. If they could be animated in color
that would be an excellent addition to the website. I would be willing to pay an
extra $5 in supporter fees to have this feature.

This was very near Iron Pony.
I know this area well.

I would like to see the posts in a thread numbered 1 thru >>>> the end so that
if I make a note of where a post is located that I want to reference later I will not
have to reread a lot of things to find it. I used the post numbers often in the
past and wish they were still numbered that way. If there are 478 posts in a
topic that's a lot to search through to find something.

If you agree to pay $5000 but only pay $2000 you still owe $3000.
If the item is repo'd and sold or auctioned off for $2000 there is
still the amount of another $1000 before the loan is satisfied.
If the item is surrendered in a bankruptcy that's a whole different
matter. All is forgiven as I understand it. They failed to recover
their property in a timely fashion and may actually have legally
abandoned it. The problem then is how to pry the title from their
hands and have the lien released. I would talk to an attorney to
see if you can get a title in your name or a salvage title since
the bike seems to have no owner due to their willful failure to
recover. It also seems that they could be held liable for storage
charges for entire time if you wanted to push it which, in that
case could cost them more than the amount yet owed for the bike.
Call the BMV and explain the situation to see what they tell you
before you call a lawyer.

If the loan was in your name, or in yours and another person's name
jointly, then you are totally responsible for the amount still owed on
the loan. If it was only in a parent's name who surrendered the bike
in a bankruptcy, then you are not on the hook for the amount owed
and it can not affect your credit report.
NADA shows an Average Retail without any farkles for an:
- XV19CSXL/C Raider S (Blue) = $6345
- XV19CSXR/C Raider S (Flames) = $6150
- XV19CXB/C Raider = $6340
- XV19CXR/C Raider (Red) = $6165
You have a bike that was never titled in your name and won't be
unless you can get that title in your hands to get it transferred, but
that will not happen if there is a lien on it, so that means you can't
sell it in it's put-together form. However, you may be able to sell
the parts off of it until it's all gone, or mostly gone. I don't know if
a motorcycle engine and/or frame needs to have a title or not if
they are sold separately.
If you want to kick the hornet's nest and try to force a release of
the title, file a lawsuit for storage fees for the amount of time you
have stored the bike for them. Ask for an amount equal to what
a nasty towing company would charge. That just might work or it
might not.
Another idea is to claim the bike was wrecked and rebuilt. You
might be able to get a salvage title then. I'm not a lawyer and I
do not play one on TV.

A sheet of 1/2" plywood is 40.6 lbs, 3/8" 28.5,
and 1/4" 22 lbs.
I'm also considering building sides and a top
for my 5 X 10. It's good for about a ton of weight.

FOR SALE
$1000
1993 FORD F-150 XLT PICKUP TRUCK
- FULL SIZE BED - 8 FOOT
- EXTENDED CAB - rear seat folds down for cargo
- BED LINER - plastic insert + rubberized bed mat
- 5 LITER ENGINE = 302 cu.in.
- NEW BATTERY
- FREE lockable ALUMINUM TOPPER w/ ladder rack - missing a window
- GOOD TREAD on tires.
- ALUMINUM RUNNING BOARDS - FULL LENGTH
This truck has been unused for 10 years. It ran when I parked it.
The starter was giving me troubles and the ignition switch is worn
out. I replaced the starter relay but that did not solve the problem.
You get a click but nothing else. I popped a new battery in it because
I thought I was going to get it running again, but I decided I really don't
want to bother with it and thought I would just sell it to get it out of my
driveway. If I have to get it running to sell it, I'm going to ask $2000.
If you are handy and want to put a starter on it and give it a go, this may
be a nice project for you. This vehicle has some termites, so if you want
a bodywork project or already have the know how and equipment, you
can make this a nice truck. The interior is undamaged but needs a good
cleaning. Plastics have deteriorated with age. There is a small crack
at the bottom corner of the windshield on the driver's side. I don't know
how it got there other than from being closed up tight in the summer heat.
PM me for more information. I'll send you my cell number.
Photos have now been posted below.
This truck is located in Newark, Ohio. I would be willing
to allow you to put a starter on it in my driveway. I have jacks. Provide me
with the invoice and I'll reimburse you for your cost of the starter IF once
it is installed AND the engine cranks (no reason it shouldn't) you do not
want the vehicle. The labor is on you. You will have to perform this work
when I am home. You may just want to tow or trailer it home.
EDIT :
This vehicle has 195,000 miles on it.
This is my first posting. I wanted to
give OhioRiders first opportunity and
want to avoid a Craigslist posting if I
can. If you or anyone you know may
be interested in this vehicle, contact
me. If I post it elsewhere, I'll likely ask
a higher amount on that posting. I just
want to get it out of my way. It's blocking
my garage door.
Thanks for reading.

You folks are having way too much fun down there in twisty land.
It's in the 90's today up here. I think we should charge you all a
fee to get back into Ohio, for all the fun you are having that we
are not having. And yes, Tonik, we will accept donuts.
Be carefull, guys and gals. MJ, keep your pockets zipped.

There's a fix, not so difficult.
With a concrete saw, and maybe a hammer and
chisel, cut the pad to fit the inside
dimensions of the shed so that the shed will sit
down over it. Then pour a border one inch lower
to set the shed on. Your floor will be elevated by
one inch and that will prevent water from trickling
in. Also, the slope you didn't want will allow water
to drain off the floor in case you want to hose out
the shed. You may want to create a
couple drainage channels under the bottom of the
shed to insure water will escape to the outside.
I would put at least two under each wall.

I was pleasantly surprised at the turnout today considering this was a rain date ride. My wife said she counted something like 43+ bikes. Anyone get an actual head count?
I counted 45 just before the group picture.
I don't think anyone showed up after that.
.

I'm home and well, but tired. Nice seeing
everyone again and some new faces, too.

If you pass OH-13 / I-70 by 0945, I'll jump on the bus
as you go by, otherwise I'll buzz eastward on my own.
If you think you'll go by there earlier than 0930, let me
know.
.

And now you can write me in for the slow group.
May is monsoon season in Ohio. After three
years of the "Rain Ride" you would think folks
would start voting to have this event in June.
Any Newark area riders that want to wait at OH-13 / I-70
for Hellmutt's merry band of riders to go by, I'll be there
by 0930 to join up with them until 0945.
