Many years ago at Lane and High, there was
a Shell Station that would rent you bay time.
You needed your own tools.

You dumb shits. Meetups is good
for more than just motorcycling.
I just know how to find information.

Ear plugs make my rides much more enjoyable.
I can concentrate easier on riding without being
bothered by the constant wind noise.

I just really want to meet some more lady riders local to me.
I think by visiting some of the local motorcycle dealers and asking
around, you may get more info on groups of ladies that ride, in the
central Ohio area. I'm sure that many, like yourself, would be more
than happy to find other women to ride with, without being in a group
that included men.
Another idea is to start a MeetUp group, to attract female riders.
Here is one group.
Buckeye State Lady RidersWe are women motorcyclists who love to ride!
We welcome all types of bikes, and are affiliated
with the Columbus chapter of Women On Wheels®
known as the Buckeye State Lady Riders.

And check these girls out.

I believe this is a family oriented group:

The next two have lots of women riders. Ask around.

Glad to hear this.

I'm glad it wasn't worse, Sam. Let's all keep in mind that most accidents happen close to home.

Great reading. Thanks for the report, Derek. It makes
me want to ride the dragon that much more.

SaturdayA chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 80. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

50% chance of rain means, If I don't ride to work, it will be sunny all day.
If I do ride to work, it will turn into monsoon season three miles from my
house.

Hopping around on sportrider.com I came across a video
of the H2's supercharger, just found out the impeller spins
at 130,000 rpm on that ba!
I think this video is the one.

I have traveled all over the United states on 2 wheels "many times off the beaten path" and have never ran out of gas, just seems like a worry over nothing to me........just sayin. Maybe the bikes I pick have a better range than some, or perhaps I just plan better or have been lucky at times too?
I did notice that most of those concerned about spare fuel
tend to have adventure touring bikes. I'm still learning this
stuff as I venture deeper into the world of motorcycling.

+1 for this >>> Tour Tanks are for those adventurous souls who
won't let gas stations dictate their destinations.
Every time I go to map out a ride, I'm looking for a fuel stop every 100 miles
for those that may need them.
A quick mount and quick connect, without tools, like an air line, would be an
excellent system for sport bikes and those not wishing to have an extra tank
mounted all the time.

I suppose we could say that was a hell of a first gear race.

Bikes here can be expensive, especially if you
want anything more than 150ccs.
Any ideas?
I follow this guy on YouTube.
Give him a call. Perhaps he
can make you a deal.

I have not used them but I have seen several bikes setup with Rotopax mounts.
I had a closer look at these Rotopax. I like them. But, a 1 gal pack
for fuel is $60 and one for water is $40. That doesn't include the
mount. Perhaps if I was doing off road, I would invest in a setup.
I suppose a larger tank would work, but I'd still be limited to only
about 600 miles.

I was given a can of this.
I can't say if it's good or
not as I don't work in
conditions that injure my
hands to the degree
that would cause me to
need it.
