  1. [

Has anyone here ever been passed by a motorcycle club?

Every weekend and always going the opposite direction. This past year I only managed a little over 11.000 miles on the bike but only 1.5 years until I retier then the real ride time starts.

  2. I would rock the shit out of that KZ (PM me if you ever want to sell it) but never the Harley. I've ridden them and it just aint my thing. Gold Wing one day, maybe.

Sorry but the KZ is going to the grandson The gold wings are nice riding bikes but not my thing just like the touring Harleys just a big luggage rack on wheels.

  3. Been to the Chilicothe thing once. Nothing but a bunch of scumbags for the most part. And yuppies pretending to be bikers, but mostly scumbags.

Damm how did you get out of there with out them burning you bike LOL

Funny thing is I have not been to any of the rallies since I bought my first Harley I am out of here I have to get up for work early. Later

  4. I've never seen one 1% club that didn't demand you ride a Harley. A lot of them require you ride a Harley with an 80 inch motor or bigger and a lot of them require you to sign the title of your bike over to the club so that they can punish you by taking your bike away..

    WOW to funny

  5. which is why they burn jap bikes at their rallys.

When that happens it is to raise money for a charity they take donations and buy or get a cheap bike. It’s kind of like when you go to one of those events where you beat up a jap car with a sledgehammer for a buck a swing.

I went to many of the rallies over a 10year period with my KZ 1000 and never had any problems or worries. I see there are a lot of misconceptions about MCs you never hear about anything they do good only the bad.

  6. you can untwist your panties, too... some people here do belong to multiple MC clubs...

They may be members of multiple Ride Clubs. But never multiple MCs there is no cross dressing EVER. If you can pay your dues and pay for your patch that day they are a ride club it takes years to earn your patch in and MC there is also a difference in the back patches ride clubs will never have 3 Patches with upper and lower rockers or have a small square with MC in it or a 1% patch on their vest unless they want trouble. H.O.G and the ALR are some ride clubs.

  7. So you are in your mid 50s think back when you were in your 20s how many of the people that you road with back then still ride my guess is not many. I was referring to the riders that are in their 20s things happen in life Marriage home kids and almost always the first thing to go is the bike. I managed to hold on to my 77 KZ 1000 all these years but mostly ride the Harley now. Of the 17 friends I use to ride with back then only 3 of us still ride 1 rides a Harley 1 a Gold Wing Iam wondering what brand of bike is the first pick for riders that are getting back in to riding after 30 years of being out of it. Iam just having a little fun here stirring the pot.

  8. Come on you can do better than that. Any bike will do that if a wheel weight comes off. But I understand You guys just can’t help yourself can you LOL

I’ve been riding a long time so let me stir the pot here and make a prediction. 20 to 25 years from now 60 to 65% of the sport bike members on this forum will no longer be riding for any number of reasons of the members that still ride I would bet more than 50% of you will own a Harley.

I hope I’m still around to say it but just in case I TOLD YOU SO

  9. No different than driving in the left lane and not moving over when someone comes up behind them. Driving schools do not teach drivers etiquette anymore. That and some asshats just dont care.

I followed a woman in to work Monday she was the most skilled driver I’ve ever seen she was talking on her phone and putting on eye makeup at the same time while doing 70 down 480 she did not put her hands on the wheel for over 5 miles dam I wish I had that kind of skill.

  10. Try prescription riding glasses with Transitions lenses there are some decent looking ones you can get check with your eye doctor they will not change color in a car or if you use a face shield that is UV protected you can check out Wal-Mart Eye they have about 10 different styles to get and idea how they fit and look

  11. I've been riding now for over 42 years and getting on motorcycle forums & websites maybe the last dozen or so. Most of my friends ride Harleys and I respect their choice. No doubt the most popular brand cruiser there is. I have never owned or even ridden a Harley Davidson and that doesn't bother me, but I don't bash their bikes. I have seen this dead horse subject kicked to death on many forums only to anger the participants. It doesn't serve any purpose other than to stir the trouble pot. Buy what you want, ride and enjoy it. It's your money and your time.

I own both types of bikes so I hear it from both sides but 99.99 % of the time it’s all in fun. And you’re right it is just beating a dead horse

    That's hilarious.

The haters I have met are all middle aged and old guys draped in brand new leather with HD stamped all over them who all started on Japanese machinery years ago and now look at any non HD bike as if its a piece of shit.

These are the same guys who only do poker runs from bar to bar or ride from one HD dealer to another collecting t shirts. We call these individuals posers and we all laugh at them.

To set the record straight I do not own anything leather that has Harley on it only because it a waste of money. I do have a few Harley shirts they were all bought for me as gifts. I have never been on a poker run I just do not trust other bikers around me that I have not ridden with in small groups to many weekend warriors ride in them and the most important thing is I never Drink and Ride thats just nature’s way of weeding out the stupid. If I do have a taste for a beer I drink something like O’Douls .
