  1. i would not jump to a liter bike.i would get a new zx6r. the amount of power going from an older carbed to a fine tuned FI'd, will be sufficient. you have to think about the 16 year generation gap you have going on. 600cc bikes tend to make a bunch more power now then they did then. and im not hoting on liter bikes, i also ride a 00 zx6r and very very much so desire a 2013 zx10r
  2. well first off, hooligan is SEMI right. the egr's are a large problem if NOT MAINTAINED!! those engines get a lot of charcoal build up in the intake if not properly driven. ie you drive 2 miles to a destination too often and not let it run fully, or let it idle too long often.) but that can be taken care with semi annually intake cleanings. the EGR coolers them selves also tend to go and put coolant directly into the exhaust, often people think their head gaskets are blown, when in fact they're not. some engines will drop lifters and the needle bearings from the lifters will go into the low pressure oil pump resulting in engine failures. occasional high pressure oiling problems, ie - dummy plugs fail, the pump its self fails, etc. i used to work on those things at a ford dealership.. i can tell you all about them. the turbos have a VGT system that makes the outlet small or larger, sometimes the vanes inside that move freeze up due to charcoaling, but like i said that can be managed. the engines that dont have problems, are baddass engines. theyre super torque'y and have a TON of mods and upgrades available to them. anymore questions? pm for my number if you have any further questions. and just fyi, for what i know about them and all their problems, i would still buy one.

  9. So I bought a new battery for the Suzuki I just added and when I put the electrolyte into the battery it started to bubble and the battery got warm.. It's been a long time since I've messed with one of these styles but I don't remember it ever doing that... Is that normal or is it fucked from the get go?

  14. MUSHROOM! MUSHROOM!!! hahahahahaha thats exactly what i thought of.. i dont take chances with any sort of mushroom. if i eat an approximation amount of a golf ball, ill be dead (of canned or commercially sold). i have an allergy to them and they swell my throat. so any that randomly come up in the yard or side of tree, my wives got to deal with. i dont know if my kids carry the same allergy or not, i know my grandpa has it, but i dont take the chance, i love my little fuckers too much.

what he said. if your going to be doing a lot of photograhpy work on it IE editing, shading, blah blah blah, your going to want some good power. i will tell you anything below a 17inch is pointless. everything below a 17" is not nearly as strong as they should be and are very dumbed down. and DO NOT buy a dell. if you buy a dell, ill smack you in the eyes with my dick.
  20. Sadly enough even before opening the post I was saying wtf.

  23. Pay attention to my " " marks. I'm basically asking if there is a reserve date for it. Ill ride freezing temps, ill ride rain, but not the combination of cold and rain. I just want to know if there is a back up plan?
  24. If I was closer I would help you. They are super simple if you have the correct tools and room to work with. Just read the instructions on the pack you buy. Seriously though, don't let it scare you, it's simple. Drill, tap, install new threads, install bolt.
