NEVER be ashamed for thinking your slowing the pace down. That could be the difference in have two wheels on the ground or your bike turned over in a ditch. (Trust me I know). The group WILL wait for you. Ride at the pace your comfortable with. Anything out of your range is dangerous. I don't mean to sound nasty about it, but it's the truth. Some people make the twisties look way easier then they actually are. No matter how much dumb shit we do, how often we all speed, we know in the back of our heads our limits. Some just get better faster. Some it takes years. This will be my third season of twisties and I'm still nervous sometimes. EDIT:: and don't be afraid to ask for advice or tips. No one here will look down on you, most of these guys will take you under their wing and help as much as they can. Just ride safely. At YOUR pace.

true, but i like having kennedy's around so i try and purchase there as much as possible, unless im paying like double the price for something.

my wife is definitely the opposite, she was more poor'er then i was till she started working at mike bass, now she makes a little more then i do (how embarrassing) but shes far from a bible thumper. shes an awesome wife and mother, but im not exactly a perfect child either. but i think they went to the same high school with each other after the parts counter chick got done with her godly school. i dont know, that conversation with my wife was one of those where you listen and let it flow out the other ear. all i got is that they attended school together at some point.

Since I'm moving right around the corner, and I frequent there, I'd like to try and come in and help out or something of the sort on my days off. My wife went to school with the owners daughter, I usually talk to her for a bit at the parts counter. I just want to get my foot in the door so maybe I can get a good deal on a newer zx6r or something.

i know Jstump and timtheazn are trailering down. i may just follow them on the bike to get there quickly, but its going to be a lot of highway. so who ever wants to meet us and follow your welcome to.

this bikes slow, when i first got it running and shut it off, i walked away for about 5 minutes to come back and find about a half gallon of fuel on the ground. took the carbs off, cleaned them out and unstuck the floats. started back up and now shes running like a kitten. i figure i may try and let my wife ride it and see how she does. its little with no power.
