  1. Welcome. There is a meet in Dayton this march you should stop on if you can.

Yea, let me know the dates and ill see if i can make it. Thanks.

I took the riders edge class at C and A, vary good class learned a ton and had a blast! Only thing i got yelled at was to slow down haha.

Thats where i bought my bike and where im taking the class. Good to know its worth it.

  2. Hey fellas, i recently just purchased my first bike, a 2013 Harley 48. I had been eyeballing this bike for a long time now and told myself i would buy it after i got back from Deployment. Bought it last Friday, trailered it home Saturday, went and took my motorcycle temps the same day, then spent the rest of the day riding and getting familiar with it. Too bad the weather hasnt allowed me to go back out since then though. Anyways, im joining the forum to get questions answered that im sure ill have as time goes, and to hopefully get in on some meets and rides. Thanks.

  3. Whats up with the front sight

Its a flip up/down front sight.

Jealous. I am left eye dominate this would be great.

Pick one up when you find one. Ive only heard of RRA and Stag Arms making a lefty. Well worth it for how comfy it is.

  4. So i went into Vances a few weeks ago with a buddy to pick up his new hand gun. While were there, i decide to check out the AR section just for shitts and giggles. There was all of like 3 guns left on the wall, BUT one that was up there was a Rock River Arms Tactical Operator 2. It hadn't sold yet because it was set up for a lefty (ME). Said its been there for weeks and they couldnt move it because it was a lefty. My lucky day, after drooling over it, i decide i should go ahead and buy this beauty since it felt so right.

  5. Looks good, I would buy a sportster if I was a smaller guy.

Im not a smaller guy, but being big makes you feel like you can handle the bike really easy.

Looks cool, but a bit comfy, but slow.

    Weird hybrid bike.

Fast enough. Acceleration feels different on a bike than strapped into a car.

I love the look of the 48's. Def. is nice. I looked at them a few years back. All you need to finish the look is to slap on some white wall tires, strip the decals off, get a tan saddle spring seat and you're set!

Maybe white walls when its time for new tires, and deff a yes on the springer seat.

  6. Nice looking bike. I'm not personally a fan of the tank decals, but I like it otherwise. As far as the exhaust goes, you could try taking the baffles out and see how you like it for now.

cool bike, not a fan of the tank decals either. Is it just me or is that front tire super fat?

I dont like the tank decals at all either. A paint job is in mind, but thats way further down the road. And yes, the front tire is super fat. Love it.

  7. I told you all that i was going to get this bike after deployment. A bunch of haters kept saying "wish lists blah blah blah". Suck it Trebek.

This is my first bike. Bought it last Friday, picked it up Saturday, went and took my motorcycle temps test, then came home and started riding. What a feeling. Too bad the weather hasnt been nice to go out again. Already have plans for the bike. The exhaust needs to be the first thing to go though.

  8. Any guess on how many choppers CPD have?

    They have 6 total.

Sounds like we need more street racing penalties.

To quote a comment on 10tv.com:

"While I'm saddened to read such a story, I can't help but wonder if the officer had lights and sirens on while responding. I see officers frequently traveling at a high rate of speed in response to calls without lights or sirens. When I've called to complain I'm told that it policy for certain types of calls not to approach the scene with lights and sirens in order to not give away they are coming."

Valid question. If his lights were off, I don't see how anyone could say the cop is innocent, policy or not.

Officers respond some times with out the use of lights or sirens in the event that they dont want to scare off a suspect, instead, this allows them to possibly catch them red handed. Theyre not just running red lights for the hell of it people.

This is definitely not the police officers fault. Its sad that so many people always want to hate on cops all the time. They do way more for society than any other Joe Shmo walking the streets. This is to be said for everyone in public safety. The fact of the matter is, the cop wouldnt have crashed had he not had to respond for back up because of a criminals actions. This should in fact be put on the suspect because had he not threatened a life, cops wouldnt have to respond at high rate of speeds, regardless of whether or not it was or wasnt lights and sirens. People need to get off the whole "every cop is a crooked pig" wagon and start being thankful that theyre around. Regardless, sad that an innocent person had to die because of some d bag criminal.

  9. and Obama is the only person to have a US citizen killed/executed without trial.

This was dumb and irrelevant. Didnt read every word but skimming through i found nothing that stated what he was actually doing. Doubtful he was killed for no reason. And did that say something about him being connected to the Airlines bombing in Detroit?

  10. Shitty situation. Yes he shouldve shot them/neutralized them, but that means to stop shooting after they go down. You then call PoPo while keeping them at gun point from a safe distance. "Finishing shots" is what put this guy away. I will say that it would be a lot harder to shoot a kid, but at the same time, it doesnt matter who you are, my life and my family's life comes before you. I shoot to neutralize the threat and if that means you die, then so be it, but i wont follow up with a head shot to verify this.
  11. I will never go back to oz's again after he tried raping me on something that should have been 60-80$. I would not recommend him to anyone.

    Hit up Alex at BPA.

If you got all of the mandrel pieces, we could cut to fit how they need to be, and tig weld them at my buddies.

That sucks, he worked with me on everything. He did a cat back exhaust on mine for $150 plus the cost of the muffler i bought. Way cheaper than buying anything and was just as good. This was about 4 years ago when his shop was in his garage out back of his house. Now he has a shop on 104 and 33 area i believe. Also think someone on here is his nephew or something like that if i remember.
