It seems fairings will be about 1k and then forks and wheel so I'm hoping no more than 3k. And gunner answered both those questions about right lol. And thanks Grape I may take you up on that once I find out more.

I have not heard from IP, dropped the bike off this morning and they said they were still backed up from Friday so it might be a day or so. Thanks for the websites. And once I get a parts list from IP I'll send Nathan a PM

WOW... Holy shit man glad she got away.... That sounds like they did not have good intentions. Time for a Concealed Carry class. I completely agree that there are to many crazy and horrible people in this world though.

As some of you may know I crashed out like a boss last weekend during the hocking ride. Myself and Ryan dropped my bike off to Iron Pony today to get a damage assessment and i should know sometime this week. From looking at it.... It will need new forks and a front wheel and almost all new fairings. Depending on the prices they give or if they find anything serious (frame damage.... Please no...) this may change. I would like to do all the work myself... with a little bit of help from some more experienced OR mechanics (mainly for the forks and wheel installation) I am willing to pay for your time as long as you don't charge $82.00 an hour Or if you would accept beer and food and motorcycle talk even better! So I've been looking around and I'm just about positive it will cost more if I buy the parts from Iron Pony so if anyone has any websites or advice to getting some of the parts I will need I am open ears! The following link is a link to some unpainted fairings that I found. Any advice on whether it would be cheaper to buy them painted or buy unpainted and have that awesome painting OR member paint them for me? I will have to discuss price of course. My main question is whether or not these fairings are adequate to the OEM fairings. Yea.... Was my own dumbass fault.. Oh well live and learn! Ryan and his wife are life savers and are super nice people. Going to drop bike off at Iron Pony tomorrow and see what the damage is. Maybe I'll luck out and its front fork and a wheel and that's it (besides plastics). Need to go back and redeem myself on that damn turn. Sorry about the hold up everyone. But had fun before the crash!

Hey Jack been slacking on keeping up with all the posts... Seeing as how the meet time is earlier then expected Mr.Anderson and myself have decided to just ride with the central group and save ourselves about 30 to 40 min. If no one from the central group decides to ride down on sunday and it isnt as early of a meet time I'd still like to ride down with your group on Sunday but we can work on the plans once we get there.

Hey know this isn't my thread but has anyone heard or used the Pirelli Diablo rosso II or the Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires? Any comments experiences with either of these tires when i go to get new ones eventually these two were what i was considering
