  1. How do you buy parts and not have this figured out? You should be on the edge of what you can get away with, but this is also why a lot of people wouldn't push it. You just need to keep your dynamic compression from going overboard. I'd just be mindfull of cam selection and talk to people who are experienced in cam design, not your buddys, not some guy at Jeg's, and not the internet.
  2. The parts department is pretty clueless, if what you want isn't simple you have to give them a part number. Constant battle for me and I work there.

  13. Runs just like it did last year, and I was really happy to have it out today. Just sliding around corners on big drag radials can be a little sketchy.
  14. Yup, Camaro is up and running. Whoever said a spool was horrible was wrong. Tight turns aren't the greatest, but I just gas it. So happy to have drove home with the t-tops out, making tire smoke, and pissing people off.
  15. Interesting, but typical CR thread. Guess I'm the odd one out, I help people fix their cars, race, talk, and whatever. The only thing I'm not really into is partying, just isn't my thing. BTW the Camaro is together, has fresh gas in it, a new battery, and 10 pounds of nitrous, who else is ready to get out of the house?

  17. He needs the tensioner and idler pullies for the A/C belt too. The whole thing feels like it sat in a lake, the tensioner didn't spring back when I took the belt off, the idler feels rough, and the A/C compresser's pully is making the most noise. Really need to replace all of it.

  19. Back when MySpace was still really popular it was easy to put up a few songs in their music section, my brother had some stuff up there so people could hear it. Just an idea, there's got to be better stuff.

  22. Well I guess I was bound to have to work during one of these, and I just took the Camaro on its first short drive of 2011 this evening, shucks.
  23. Go find an old Lincoln LSC and stick the LS1 in it, at least it wouldn't be a Foxbody. or LS1/T56 + turbo + some roller chassis, hell you could put it in anything.
