  1. http://ezinearticles.com/?Riding-ATVs-the-Right-Way&id=67923 Here is an article I found that is very factual.
  2. http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/wayne/recreation_sites/trail_permits/trail_permit.html I guess they have changed it, under 16 can ride with supervision, it didn't used to be like that. I still see nothing about age vesus quad size.
  3. Anytime I've been around a park ranger, all they care about is age (because in the past I know you had to be 16 I got kicked out when I was 8 or 9, but that was 20 years ago) and whether or not you're doing something stupid like speeding through the parking lot. I would just buy a suitable quad and tell them it's for your wife or something, it sure won't be any fun if the quad is too small. This is the first year where I havn't been out riding by now, and beleive me they are there to enforce safety not be dickheads, if you aren't acting like deuche bags they'll just wave at you as they go by, if you're in Wayne they'll just look to see your permit displayed.
  4. IMO it's hard to get much out of used rims, someone is either going to have to like them or get a smokin deal, so either offer a killer deal to get rid of them or hold out for someone who really wants them. If I was holding out, I'd think those wheels retailed around 100 a piece, tires around 100 each, so what somewhere over $800 new, worth $600 or so in like new. idk just my 2 cents, I wouldn't want to give you $400 for those, they are ugly and a really old design.
  5. The one I had at 4 years old had an age restriction sticker of 12 on it. By the time I was 12 I was too big:confused:. This was 24 years ago. I'd be very interested in these laws if you can find them. If kids can ride at Wayne with their parents I may have to look into getting my daughter one, it wasn't like that 5 or 6 years ago. My younger cousins all had to wait until they were 16 to go ride with the rest of us, so I guess they changed it recently. However I think most of Wayne is over the head of most young and inexperienced riders.
  6. Where would the air leaking down to the crankcase go? Not trying to be a smartass.
  7. You have to be 16 to ride in most public places, Wayne for sure. The whole age requirement for a certain size quad/motorcycle is bullshit. I got a big speach one time from an Ask employee telling me he would not sell me one for my daughter until she was 12. There really is no laws I'm aware of regarding this shit, just liability legal bullshit for manufacturers to stand behind.
  8. Good intro, welcome. Nice meeting you last night.

This is the size I run on the Camaro, I'm a big fan of the Toyo Proxes 4s. Sumitomos aren't bad for the money, and are alot better then the older crap they used to have.
  10. Village Gate by Summit Station, and no I don't think so.
  11. Congrats man, there's nothing like those first few weeks. Try to soak it all in, it's the best work you'll ever do.
  12. No it took 5 cans, Lowe's had them for 98 cents a can, the super cheap shit. If I really wanted to waste money I'd buy some of that transparent black paint. Although I may have to try that out on something before I do the Camaro. It shifts really well, gears and cab. She's a smart kid, she did really well considering she couldn't press down the button on the can. I thought it was hilarious how she was pressing the button with her left hand, and swinging the can back and forth. Too bad I didn't take the camera out sooner. Good times.
  13. http://www.superchevyshow.com/2009schedule.html It'll be at Norwalk June 12-14, I'm not going to drive up there just to look around. If they were still having it at Trails I'd go.
  14. Well seems like everyone is having birthdays lately, Happy Birthday.
  15. Well it's one color now, but yes it's a godawfully huge POS.
  16. So I taught the kid to rattle can, she did the whole passenger side of the truck while I did the rest. It was a good way to waste $5 and have fun with my daughter. http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/CIMG0496.jpg http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/CIMG0494.jpg
  17. I really hate the way gunmetal and silver colors look against a white car. I'd have to say black, bronze, or chrome, given what you seem to like I'd go bronze. I have come across so many good deals on silver wheels for my car, but I just can't take the chrome off even if they are extremely stock.
  18. I'm not into the "tuner" thing, but I like the car especially the plate. You even did the intro well, welcome to CR.
  19. Cool car man, welcome.
  20. Don't be a hater. Just because torque escapes you. I like the car, not really a fan of the color or wheels either.
  21. Let this be a lesson to you Phil, keep your shit away from me. Your cars can't handle you, I just scare them into breaking.
  22. Seriously, given the opportunity I'd gladly shoot this deuchebag in the head.
