Anything is better then nothing, and I'm sure I'll get shit because I don't use some high end name brand stuff and I get mine at the auto parts store, but I use Meguirs leather care stuff that comes in what looks like a soap dispenser. Has worked good on my cars, though if there is wear on the seat I'm sure there are better products.

Why would I spend $65 to $75 a wheel when they only $100 a wheel new? I wish I had the stock Racing Hart wheels that came on these cars but I didn't get them with car, if I did those would be worth refinishing. Stock wheels are hard to come by, as they were easily bent, and the Mazdaspeeds were not common.

Do what? Buy wheels for a car I'm getting rid of? The wheels and tires on it are not something most people would want, besides i can sell them to a Miata racer easy enough.

Okay so, in order to sell my Miata I'm going to put some decent wheels on it. The ones I have looked nice until I drove the car with race pads, and got some salt on them a couple years ago. I doubt anybody wants the car with platidipped wheels like it has now so here we go. It has to fit a Miata with sport brakes (most 15s fit but not all). Basically 15x6.5 or 15x7, about a 40mm offset, 4x100 bolt pattern. I have 205-50-15 tires already that I will put on these new rims, so I can then sell the rims and tires on the car. I want to sell the car so the cheaper the better, ideally under $500 and there are lots to choose from in that price range. I realize that my taste in wheels isn't everybody's so getting some ideas of what other people like will help out a lot. Thanks for checking this out and I appreciate your input, maybe someone even has something to sell me. Ready go.

Well as much as I wish it had the stock wheels, it didn't come with them. If you can even find stock wheels they are way to expensive. The ones I have found are damaged anyway, so that's cost prohibitive. Otherwise I'm leaning towards doing stock brake replacement, timing belt, and maybe finding some decent wheels.

So off the topic that I want to replace it with a Vette, I can't afford to just go trade it in for a Vette so I need to sell it first. Once I'm out of it I can pay some other things off, an easily buy a Vette in the next 1-1.5 year. Obviously I autocross the car, and wasn't planning on doing it anymore this year, but it has race pads on it, would you take those off? Seems like an obvious yes, but the wheels having been dusted with ridiculous brake dust look like shit so I plastidipped them so they wouldn't look as bad, would you get wheels? Seems like I might let that work out in negotiations. Now let's say it doesn't sell before spring, I can't see myself not driving it, which means more autocross. Now I personally can't stand the finicky gearbox when racing, how bad would swapping in the more popular 5 speed hurt the value? One of the things most people bitch about in these cars is gearing, and the 5 speed definitely helps that. The 6 speed is notchy and causes you to shift it constantly. Anyway, I wish someone would show interest, I'd be happy to get payoff and break even on the deal. Id be happy to help the new owner anyway I could. Throw in the extra diff, setup the car however they want, I don't care just so long as I break even. I'm not that good at selling stuff so any tips or advice would be helpful. Does it even matter to people that Mazdaspeed Miatas are somewhat hard to get, they only made them for 2 years under 4000 of them worldwide, the only factory turbo Miata.

Yes every time I was caught red handed, I'm a habitual speeder. Its hard for me to behave, because I like speeding, and I realize that I have a problem. However I have been able to negotiate a better outcome then just giving in, I don't have much choice anyway if I want to keep working.

Wish I worked closer to that, I'm just posting because I'm jelly.

Or perhaps negotiating the consequences is favorable to you. Simply paying it and moving on with life is certainly anyone's choice, but not accepting things simply the way they are presented is also your choice. If I simply accepted all the tickets I've gotten I'd have no license, no job, and be useless to society, where's the advantage to me just giving in? I don't understand why anybody would make light of someone challenging a speeding ticket, or any ticket for that matter. One of the greatest things about being American is the ability to face your accusor and challenge what is happening to you. So whether you're in the right or not, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't challenge it, and anybody dumb enough to make fun of that process looses a lot of my respect.
