Okay guys, back on Topic. Who is willing to lead each group?? I'm sure @Hellmutt and @whaler are willing to lead MED group with @snot and @Wolfman1 as sweeps for those groups. Need a fast, med-fast, and med-slow/slow group leads/sweeps. I'm trying to not lead the Med-F group this time as I would like to get plenty of footage following or maybe even not ride the ride and jump ahead and get photos/video as the groups come through. maybe even throw the drone in the air and get some aerial footage of you guys coming through. I think that would be badass. Let's get this finalized. I'll have map print outs for directions and maybe @Tonik can post the sygic download.

On an unrelated note, I'll be there as well.

Yup, this is 100% the place we stopped at on our way back home. Was definitely a cool place. Don't think we got food though.

Can you enlighten me on what tthe name of this place is? I tried googling but received no results. I swear @whaler and I stopped at this place. I think they were doing white water rafting drills. Maybe it was a different place though.

I might actually be heading down the day before and staying overnight. Not 100% sure, but if I don't go down early, I'm definitely tagging along and I'll be bringing several other riders with me. I think I'm at probably around +6 guys right now.

Our main concern is some of the guys didn't have a ton of vacation time so we are leaving Thursday after work. Which means leaving around 6pm. Don't really wanna be riding into Deals Gap at 2AM. I've done it before and it was sketchy. Plus we are leaving Sunday afternoon and people are going to want to decompress before having to go to work Monday morning.

My main thing is I'm taking 5 guys who have never been to Deal's Gap and want to show them the great roads and great scenic views that are available for the area. No need to explore random roads yet. We haven't even experienced most of the more common roads for the area.

I'm assuming Bridal Veil Falls is the place we can park our bikes under?

Route looks awesome. Yes we are trailering. Any scenic spots that are a must see when down there?

Appreciate it. Like I said, I'll still be attending this event and still holding these events in the future. I won't let the distance hold me from riding the good SEO roads. Fortunately I still have plenty of places to stay in Akron when needed. So I'll be riding in on Friday nights, crashing somewhere, and riding out like normal on Saturdays.

Sorry ladies and gentleman, I've accepted a new job that is requiring me to move to Toledo and my truck just blew a timing belt that I'm sure has fried the motor so all my time has been preoccupied with trying to navigate all these details. Yes, the ride is still on and I'm still attending. I will update the first post with this information ASAP.

Okay guys, Unfortunately, I've accepted a position with a new company and the new job starts June 6th so I won't be able to attend this like I wanted. I booked my trip the week before since I'll be in the interim between companies. I've only been there once before and it was literally for a day (enough to experience the tail, cherohala, rocky mountain national park) Can you guys give me a list of must see's so I can program into Sygic so we don't miss out. So far I've got Bald River Falls, Cherohala Skyway, Wolf Pen Gap, Tail of the Dragon, & Blood Mountain. I'm more looking for awesome scenic areas or dining areas or anything else you figure out is a must do. Thanks gents!

I put two of these on my bike. They both blew out while riding. Fortunately didn't crash either time but left me stranded. These are pieces of shit!

If I had the ability to choose what kind of print they did, I would consider, but unfortunately, I don't. I work with what I got.

Apparently you want black shirts with black text so you read nothing. Good thing we don't leave those decisions up to you!
