Edit: Here is the video: Video to be posted when I can get it edited, but here are a few pictures from my America Burnout.
-
On a side note, I'm in for this.
-
I thought I was really being clever when I did it FIRST, but it doesn't. SIGH @Tonik is just a copycat.
-
I'm actually not sure I even recorded it to be honest lol. The Mic drop was hilarious though.
-
Here is my video from this day in case anyone wanted to check it out. No... @Tonik I did not include the part of you dusting me on 536. I couldn't take the horror to include in the video.
-
Yup, they look about the same lol

Sunday morning, myself and two other guys made the trip east from Toledo to attend FZ6Sonik's Shakedown Ride. I think because of the rain, the birds were feasting on their selection of worms because they were stupid. I probably killed 4 birds on the trip over, but this one was the most epic. Includes a slow-mo and zoom towards the end. I will be including this in a full youtube video for the entire days adventures but figured I'd show you guys first. Thanks to @Whelan for letting me snag the footage.

Stand up when you are talking to us. Haha jk... Finally joining the OR crew.. I like it. Welcome to this chaos Shorty!
-
I plan to be in Akron this weekend to replace the Pilot's front hub bearings/rotors/brakes, change my motorcycle tires, visit John. I think I can squeeze in time to make a run to this. Are you going @Tonik ??
-
Fuck 12! That is all. Hahaha. Welcome to the chaos Whelan.
-
In a completely unrelated note, did anyone else's SENA fail? Mine, @Whelan, Kyle's, Shorty's SENAs all failed from water.
-
Eh... my front tire was completely trash. I bent it in to the corner and lost the front... I recovered and instead of trying to smash it into the corner (which still was highly probable) I just took the easy path of the run off road in case the front didn't want to cooperate again.
-
Exactly how I saw it when I talked to him! Awesome!

You can't make demands as the challenger! I didn't get a dry non-motoamerica saturday to get embarrassed on 536. Hell, I couldn't even get non-cupped tires with some tread.
-
I'm not quite sure what is my fault, but I'll take the responsibility because I probably pissed that person off somehow...

Great ride (sort of) yesterday. 625 miles for me. Living in Toledo blows. Killed at least 3 birds on my way from Toledo to Wooster. One off the noggin' -- Caught in 3 major downpours. Those weren't fun. The first burst of rain, I literally had perfect traction early so I was pushing... probably not smart, but I knew we were trying to beat it through to Caldwell and was hoping by pushing we could beat it. Boy was I wrong. Roads started to dry and we went onward. Things went downhill for me after that as my front tire deteriorated to a point that made it hard to ride, from the cupping to the lack of traction. Front kept sliding which is an uneasy feeling. As the tire started to wear more and more, we hit more rain and it was by far the sketchiest riding I've done. I was so worried that any moment I was going to completely lose the front, but fortunately, I was able to make it home safely. Yes, Jim smoked me on 536. I was with him for the most part, but towards the end I really was pushing beyond the limits of the tire and had a few situations that caused me to back off and let him pull away. It's okay... new tires and I'll invite him on a trip he won't soon forget... (This was the tire before the 250 mile journey home) - I've never really had an issue with not getting two rears to a front. I guess these flat straight Toledo roads proved otherwise. What's hard to see in the tire photo is how cupped the tire was as well. I can't wait for the next one.

Just got off the phone with John. We talked for about 15 minutes. He talks fairly normally, you can tell he struggles a bit in remembering certain things. He is rehabbing and learning to walk again. He said yesterday he walked 2 times and was exhausted and that was the worst part. Definitely a miracle. So happy to hear his voice and talk. He doesn't remember anything from this entire ordeal which is probably for the best but he does remember before and after, so memory doesn't seem to affected all that much. He struggles very occasionally in his speech but I'm sure that will fade as time goes on. John, you truly are a fighter. We all knew you could do it. I also asked when he expected to be back on a motorcycle and he is shooting for a month hahahaha. Now that's a true biker for life.

Dude I've always wanted you to stuff into me at every corner. It's been my dream.
-
Excuse me... you should stick to your track forums with your lingo. K THNX BAI

Definitely go with Tonik. I'm leaning towards cancelling my event as usual.
-
It's because I'm hosting an event this weekend... My uncanny ability to pick dates where it rains just far out does your ability to hold it off.
-
Your dome of hate is failing since you've moved on to the FZ6. Weather has taken a drastic turn for the worse.
-
Repeating what Tonik said - Confirmation from the family last night. He is awake and talking. Also--- They are still not allowing visitors unfortunately.
-
Haven't got confirmation, but I did get a reply from the guy on facebook who said that he was talking. It was hearsay. Still trying to reach out to family.
