well the 2 Michigan riders that were possible IN's* are out. Bummer, so it will just be me Riding down! See ya at that Church about 10:45am!

Looking at the Radar, I imagine most of this will have already PASSED by the Epic Ride area 6am in the morning. Only small "Popup" or "Popcorn" showers might develop during the ride, which those I have no problem dealing with. I just dont leave the house knowing its POURING RAIN with a thunderstorm system the size of TEXAS looming overhead all day! I plan on waking up at 4AM. Leaving my house bout 4:45am! I will check the Radar and this forum 4:30am tomorrow morning and make my Final call then! I would vote that this Ride happens tomorrow & do another for those that Only want to ride Sunday.

haha right, but its quite a distance for me to go on a GAMBLE! I will just have to wait until the morning and look at the Radar and make a judgement call for myself.

bah even looking at the HOURLY report for new concord... 60F for the HIGH? Today is niiice 70-72F Sunny.... fucking shit! Dunno because at this point, I'm not riding 350miles to the met spot only to be pissed on the rest of the day, even 50% chance! heh

I do wonder how much more we (Michigan) keep getting morning temps of 30's - low 40's with a High of only 55-60F. hahaa

Its only Tuesday. I never get all bent outta shape or even listen to those weather reports several DAYS ahead of time! I will decide when its Friday and the weather report gets updated. Fingers crossed until then . . .

I always keep my tourmaster 2pc rain suit in my Givi trunk. and Will be wearing it the whole ride down that morning. Rain suit makes for a good Wind Breaker to help keep you warmer when faced with colder temps!

So, I will be coming down from Michigan. Using this route! I-75 south to US23 to I-270 to I-70. Will there be any known headache construction or stuff I need to know about?

6 days away . . . cannot wait! I pray the weather gods allow for a FINE day of Riding!!!

Update* Still IN* but will be riding SOLO MEDIUM GROUP* (not riding 2UP with GF) I shall be doing an IRON BUTT RIDE on May 21st. 750+ miles total, Coming down from Michigan!

Michigan doesnt suck that much, oh wait... YES IT DOES! (in terms of moto-riding roads) Doc, I'll see about coming down maybe August 7th on a Friday (spend the night) so I have most of Saturday to Ride with ya. Then arrive back home late that Saturday (will have to work that Sunday morning). After my Gingermann Trackday August 15/16th, I will be taking my bike back up to the Dealer to have a few things checked out, Before my Extended Warranty Finally runs out this Sept. !!! So depending how long it takes them to complete those things, my Riding season might come to an End at that time! Just forewarning you Ill update you soon as I can, keep in touch!

Thanks, but this isnt my first trackday! Ive done Grattan about 5 times b4, but this will be my 1st Time @ Gingermann! And its been like 2-3 years since I last did a trackday! If I had the money to get a trailer, all that extra stuff, have a Track-only bike, etc, etc. I would, but thats not gonna happen anytime soon!
