  1. Hello Dave, from one to another! (someone already beat me to the Cheech n Chong ref)
  2. Sup Derek, man sorry to hear about Jerry. I remb a post about him being sick, but figured he would pull through. RIP Jerry! I remb riding with him in 2015 summer, leading my lost ass around on my way home. If it weren't for Jerry pointing me to I-75/US23. lol (keep in mind that time I had a flip phone, no GPS unit, no maps... just Me) Anyhow, yea I plan on attending once again! I hope to see yall again! I will likely be SOLO again
  3. I can only imagine the insurance on that thang HERE IN MICHIGAN!!! LOL
  4. I've had great success with BT023's. Ive ran 3 sets on my (non-GT version of course) on my lil Ninja 650R. 14-16k miles out of the fronts, 10-11k out of the rears! and back in the day HALF of my 10-16k miles a year I used to ride, were in fact 2UP with my GF on back + cargo. (during trips to northern michigan). Also did 1-2 track days per/season on top of that and never had bad terms of grip. Of course I was in Novice, but running in the higher Novice groups #1-3 speeds. Never had weird tire wear with shaking going on. Guess I was lucky?
  5. Yep that was it, as It was to my left when I past by it! I guess I'll have to stop by next Ohio Ride on the way home for 1 Beer! lol
  6. Looks kinda familiar, it was lite up glowing RED at Night. About 7 cars n trucks where parked around it. lol
  7. It was on a north bound road. Or running at a NW angle. It could've been on 250, 302, Bates rd, 13, 511, 89, 99, I cant remb all the roads. Somewhere between Ashland & Wooster? I tried googling it and nothing pops up on a back road, only major/minor cities. Anyhow had to battle fatigue, drunk drivers, deer, shattered wooden pallet in the middle of the road, etc AT NIGHT with my high beam aimed goofy. First gas stop on the way home, I tried to adjust it, but the knob just turns and the beam doesnt move at all. its aimed to the far left. low beam was aimed just a tad DOWN too much. Something is stripped or broken tabs, I'll take the front end apart and figure it out.
  8. Derek thanks for the photos! Looking forward to the video, that drone is sweet! Thanks for everyone that came out, whether I got to talk to ya or not. Its always an Awesome ride/time for me!!! 804.5 miles is what I ended up with. GPS took me through some back roads trying to find highway ones at night. It was an interesting ride home in the dark. Somewhere on some road in the middle of nowhere (literally) I rode past a Strip Club? I cant remember the name of it, ill have to look on google maps and try to remember the roads I was on and back track it, but LOL Anyhow, later ya'll . . .
  9. Basically I'm coming down I-75, US 23, 270, 70 east, 60 south to McConnelville. My last gas stop will be at Timmy V's (BP). Then just 8-9 miles NE to the Big muskie!!!
  10. Thanks, but I wont be making it to Wooster. Or even be near the times you guys pas through those small towns. I'm sleeping in till 5am. (Last time I woke up early and left my house @ 3am last year)
  11. Just an update for those going. I'm OUT* (just cant make it this year) Have fun, ride safe, get home safe guys!
  12. So looking at google maps... it looks like McConnelsville, would have the closest Gas station near the big muskie? Unless there is one closer?
  13. Ok good, I should be there right at 103oam. Leaving my house at 5am sharp! I can speed ALOT on I-75/I-94 here in Michigan, but keep it like 70mph on highway once in Ohio. NOT gonna get a ticket in Ohio! lol
  14. so I see 10:30am is the meeting time, but what is the KSU* time? I have a 5.5 hour ride to the Big Muskie.
  15. so I see 10:30am is the meeting time, but what is the KSU* time? I have a 5.5 hour ride to the Big Muskie.
  16. aye, I wont be able to make it to that spot at that time, this time. I'm just gonna sleep in few extra hours n just slab the highway to the big muskie! If I lived like HALF the distance, I would no doubt met up with yall at that BP gas station in wooster.
  17. Dude RSB is DEAD! Only posts on there is folks selling shit. Their forum has become just another "craigslist". I had a small gorup interested that can handle all those miles, but when it was voted for 9/16 and not 9/9, they werent coming. They had an annual moto-camping trip up in the Thumb of michigan going on 9/15-9/17 weekend already. Oh well.
  18. I CANT WAIT!!! And as per usual, I cannot find any other Michigan rider that is interested in doing this ride with me. Maybe its just me? Folks hate me I guess, heh oh well.
  19. Nope the new rider pals ive made this season, is doing a Thumb-moto-camping trip up north in the Thumb the weekend of this ROAR Ride. 1 new rider wants to join but I turned them down, they are NEW to riding. And my GF cant 2UP all these miles in 1 day so I will be solo again!
  20. Wow! 331 miles 5 hours, 46 mins to get too the big muskie from my house! Might be like a 900 mile day for me! LOL
  21. I agree, reminds me of an 2 time P/year event we have here in Michigan. "All Clubs Day" in the fall and "All Clubs Ride" in the spring, in Stockbridge, Michigan!
  22. Motus has now came to Michigan! Spartan Cycles in Clinton twp, Michigan now offers Motus bikes! They just signed a contract last week. No demos yet, but they are trying for a late Sept. Mid-October 2017 "Open/ Demo house event". This red one MST, is the private bike from the owner of Spartan Cycles! So you can demo it, only if your friends or family with him. lol I asked him if I could take it out, he smiled and said "No, sorry!" Fucker sounds awesome, the owner started it up, let it run for a bit, then rev'd it several times. The motor twists like a fucking muscle car would... it was a feeling to behold! If I won that powerball . . . but till then, I will just demo ride it next year when they will have one for demo. Unless of course, youre great friends with the Owner, then he'll let ya take this one out for a ride!
  23. less ppl would be a good thing, smaller groups usually are more fun! It's like me going to Gingerman raceway for a trackday.. and Novice is only like 1/2 full. More room on the track to open things up. Longer route planned? fuck yeah... you know me. Looks like I might end up doing a IRON BUTT on Sept. 16th lol
  24. Is most folks burnt out on this event? Seems that way... I look forward to this 1-2 a year. (if I can make it). I plan on attending this next one. I'll be trying to bring some new michigan friends down with me, but I likely will be SOLO as always lol
