Government bailouts are why HD is still here.

I was looking at Ultra Classics and Road Glides before Jim offered up the Voyager. Saved me about $10k going with a "plastic bike" over the real thing. Zero regrets.

I have a stereo, but I use it about 10% of the time, or less. One, it sounds like shit..two, I am too cheap to buy the Aux plug and hate everything on the radio. (except Rush)

Man Pauly, I thought when you bought the couch it was a case of temporary insanity. When the Duc aficionado bought a Jap cruiser,  I thought, hell must have froze over. Then I read your post that you were actually looking at a Harley Ultra Classic Road Slide Guide Fat Boy Dyna Softail CVO bike. WOW, still wrapping my head around the Duc guy riding the couch.

  2. Last weekend my friend installed Spiegler handlebars on my 2018 Kaw Ninja H2 SX SE. The clip ons were torturous after 45 minutes of riding, the new bars are very comfortable. It was a (13) hours job, had to locate and drill holes in the bars for the controls along with rerouting wiring and brake/clutch lines. The direction were extremely vague and missing steps, like most aftermarket accessories. Really like the new bars!

  3. Put the bike on the center stand, leave the battery in the bike and plug the tender in, cover the bike. In November begin trips to Florida, unplug the battery tenders and ride the FZ10 or FZ1 in nice weather during the winter.

There is some truth to what @NinjaDoc says, there are times when it is useful. I paired up with @ricer1 once, we were southbound on 148. At the very beginning of our run down it we caught this super slow old lady, I got a break with a straight to get around her but John got caught behind her. I was able to gap her and call back to John when it was clear for him to corner pass her.

Going back to my comment earlier about shooting people that pair with me. I would like to point out that the very next day after that ride John was dead. True story.

That is a true story! After 37 minutes without a pulse most people would consider a person dead, it's going take more than 37 minutes and 8 days in a coma to kill me. Many of OR people supported my family while I was in the hospital and my wife and kids appreciated the effort to visit the hospital!

I'm with NinjaDoc, I listen to tunes on the Sena the majority of time, but it is nice to communicate getting out of parking lots, through traffic lights and stop signs, passing cars and trucks. Riding over 45 years on the street and the last 10 years using the Sena has made it easier talking instead of communicating like monkeys when you need a bathroom break, gas or food. JMHO.

It's cool, had to bust em right back. Wish I would have looked at your ride now, I've never seen one in the wild before.

We are meeting tomorrow at noon at the same Wendy's to ride in the afternoon,  meet us there if you want to ride.

To be fair, I rode past the parking spot and could only see the duc because he parked behind you. All I could tell about your bike was it was kawi because of the color. Sorry you got so butthurt you resorted to coming here to cry and blow snot bubbles over it. Guess having a big boy bike doesnt make you a big boy.

Sammy, I had to bust your balls, been boring on the OR forum!

  7. Yesterday a couple friends and I were going to ride and met at Wendy's in North Canton. A guy comes up to us and see's my friend wearing a Ducati tshirt and starts telling him how great his Duc ST, and he likes this and that, asking all kinds of questions about the Duc. I realize the guy is Sam (Gixxus Christ) and introduce myself as Ricer1 (John), then he goes full Pauly with Duc syndrome, going on and on about how he likes my buddy's set up, blah... blah.... blah. In the parking lot next to the over 20 year old Duc ST is my 2018 Kawasaki Ninja SX SE, my bike is one of the only supercharged bikes on the planet pumping out 200 HP, every electronic gadget you can put on a bike. I know Sam has never seen a Ninja SX SE in the wild. Not one F'in word or question about my Kaw Ninja SX SE!  He wants to talk about an antique Duc ST.

  8. I have Geico, no claims and no problems. I also have Progressive and had a claim on 2008, totaled bike, gave me the blue book value on my 2005 FZ1 and all accessories in full along with my medical deductible. Interestingly, they came to my house with the check only a couple days after the accident and I remember I was still high on narcotics I was taking for the pain. They really were responsive.

Quiet, it's a big secret. We just tell everybody we make weather balloons.

Welcome to the OR, hope you have THICK skin! Are you near Wright Patterson, everyone knows the Roswell aliens were taken there, maybe on a GE UFO?

    Um?  Tuesday

Getting the family together on Sunday didn't work, son is moving from Cbus to LA California in a couple weeks and won't being seeing him for a while. Maybe, Laguna Seca World SBK trip?

  11. Maybe I'm missing something, Mother's Day is Sunday May 12, 2019 and the Epic Ride is scheduled for SATURDAY MAY 11th!  It's not Mother's Day weekend. I hope to make the Epic Ride or whatever it's called.

Well, left work at noon so I could get the risers on before the Fed ex guy showed up with more stuff. He was already here.

Risers are on, love them. I am back further in the seat, shoulders relaxed and wrists perfectly straight.

Also got the rear fender fillers in. There is a gap between the fender and the bags. All kinds of dirt was hitting the bags. That issue is fixed.

Don't like the "tank" bibs I bought. Those are going back. Tech Spec makes some really nice ones I just found that I am going to get.

So you had the GW painted white, I liked the blue color better!
