  1. I have done this. Sometimes it's a great idea Remember the span of getting your coin, sending it out, and getting it back from grading can be a few months. If gold is $8xx/oz when you get the coin back, well, that's when it wasn't such a great idea. If you have the capital to sit on it in a worst case scenario, you can't go wrong.
  2. On my early build 95, it was a bad starter immobilization relay (underdash, left of the steering column) However, if that stuff turns off while "cranking", it sounds like it's trying to start.. and probably not be the same issue. +1 Kale's advice to hit the starter. Take a broomstick or a pipe or something. Squeeze through that mess and slam it on the starter
  3. Yep. I had several e36's do this. Do the radio & cluster lights turn off when you attempt to crank it?
  4. This right here 110% As a guy who used to do tint professionally, I'd say cutting it is the easy part.
  5. If it is a "rebuilt salvage" title, nothing different than any other vehicle. If it is not rebuilt, you have to go through that process (transfer to in-state title if currently out-of-state + go to 'inspection' at Alum Creek BMV)
  6. Saw what looked like a PPV in Pickerington/Rburg area about 2 weeks ago. I didn't catch who's it was, though. I would love to check out one of them in person.
  7. True story ^ It makes them angry when you have an unmarked P/W relay cutoff switch too. "No, none of my windows work" Best on sedans with rear windows that go down all the way. :gabe:
  8. Just a guess, but that windshield may be what gets police attention. I wouldn't think twice about the truck's tint otherwise; hell, I have a truck with factory 8% glass. Might be worth it in the long run to get that re-tinted to the AS1 line or higher
  9. If they called this car a Nova it would almost make sense. And then it would be kind of cool.

  11. Misleading reporting is misleading, NBC4 :dumb: Note that the ICF studies and designates "intelligent communities", not "cities full of intelligent people". All tied into broadband internets penetration and such things.
  12. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/objects_lg/50800/50728.JPG good stuff though
  13. That's pretty much what I'm wondering.. guess it is possible though That 14BFF axle itself is like 500 pounds Granted they can be pretty light with a disc swap & the right wheels.
  14. Cool bike. :megusta: Good price too I'm rebuilding a 75 CB550 that I've had for a decade or so It came from the factory with just as much tacky junk bolted to it.. Benji's tank/seat and Clubmans (going w/ clip-on's next) changed it into a totally different creature
  15. Everything about this is excellent. What's your goal for weight when done?
  16. I got the PF9 right after it was released It's been very reliable, but I would never call it "enjoyable" to shoot The reason I never got an LC9 is the thumb safety - Specifically a non-ambi thumb safety. And a mag disconnect, etc etc Not something I want on a BUG like these, personally
  17. It sounded like the engine started to run away & he clutch dumped trying to kill it
  18. Good news But at the risk of sounding tinfoil paranoid... From the beginning I said these are not about mailing out some speeding tickets The common use of them may be ruled unconstitutional, but have you ever seen a camera removed?

  20. Not quite in Johnstown - but might be worth it to check with Carl at Champion Shooter's Supply http://www.championshooters.com I haven't been to the new shop, but pricing was always fair before.
