  1. Well it's a pretty impressive pricing spread between a "base" and a "mid-level" F150. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/sciotopc/f150_zpsmqywlhuc.png I must say I'm tempted now to go check out a reasonably equipped F150, to see how it stacks up against a top-of-the-line 10 year old Dodge.
  2. Save one for me... Thanks for posting this. Will try to make it out.
  3. I'm not saying it's a universal truth to apply to every car and truck, because you'll have a lot of variables in there with calibration and emissions. I can't feel the difference between 27psi and 32psi (he351) on my 3500, which is the loss at 10,000 feet. Can't see the difference at the pump, either. EGTs are higher, but that truck doesn't compensate for EGT. Same experience with a 200hp VW ALH TDI through the mountains. TBH, I don't know about the Cruze, though. Haven't driven one or looked at the tune yet.
  4. That's another interesting characteristic of diesel vehicles. Thanks to fueling method and turbo, altitude doesn't matter much.
  5. I'll go ahead and say iPhone, and wait for the thrown fruit.
  6. As it turns out, I think this could make a pretty decent powder scale. (Gunpowder, not drugs ) .10 grain = 0.006479891 grams
  7. Curiosity makes me ask... how much does something like that go for?
  8. Cool, thanks... I've wondered as much but never tested. Admittedly, most of what I own is xm855/ss109... but I'm really not sure I'd care if it disappeared (in a perfect world where the xm193 supply increased equally)
  9. I do 37 (from Baltimore) all the way to 161... Because screw both the 70->270 interchange and the 70/71 split. You could also do some elaborate trip by way of Rickenbacker to 317, to 104, to 71N. Done that from the west side of Lancaster to Polaris in about an hour, hauling ass.
  10. As far as I know, they officially run 400yd. The only place I've shot any further was private property, sorry for the confusion. Though I have heard the same talk of events at Briar Rabbit going 600-1000, just looked on Google Earth and don't see how that is possible on the property whatsoever...
  11. Thunder Valley goes to 1000 http://thundervalleyprecision.com/schedule/ Nothing I have is any good over 600, so I shoot at BR
  12. Seriously though... Does anyone have a compelling argument for XM855 against XM193 (55gr)?
  13. CTD has never proven themselves to be price-gouging fear mongers... :grin2:
  14. Nice find. Of all the cars I've ever owned, one of these was my favorite. No joke.
  15. Yeah, I have one of those. 85W Bought back in the day like 2011 or something. Buy me a beer around Polaris somewhere and it's yours, haha.
  16. I wish I could move back to Dayton. This is a great deal, in a great neighborhood. GLWS
  17. Do it. :megusta: I have a '75 cafe build currently in many more pieces than that. It's a good learning experience & if you need any parts or help hit me up.
  18. who needs a tach, just drive it as fast as it will go :fa: http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/sciotopc/skjgdl_zps9ba35106.jpg (Thats 4.10's on 35" tires. So about 3500rpm.)
  19. Well look at that... in Canada, "NFA" is a good thing.
  20. Samsung 56" DLP TV. It pretty much needs a new color wheel and maybe a lamp. Will work for a while while making an annoying high-pitched whine, and then randomly powers off. I've had it for many years, and it was with me when roommates smoked in the house, so there is that too. Put a $100 color wheel and maybe a $100 lamp in and you'll have a pretty nice, big 1080P TV. I just need it gone ASAP. Located in Pickerington, and it's free if you pick it up. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/sciotopc/unnamed_zps6a4c52ae.jpg
  21. I pretty much miss using TextMate and Coda. (you have vi of course) Adium for multiprotocol IM
  22. If no one else, I've been meaning to get one and would be interested in that. And I'll +1 Doc's sentiments about the Grand Seiko. Especially if you like striking up conversation with "watch people" it's a fun one to wear.
