  1. If JP-8 counts as "gasoline", then a surplus UH-60 Blackhawk. Absolutely. Most of my current vehicles run on it anyway.
  2. Do you happen to know the measurements on the couch? I'll go ahead and say I'll take it... Just hoping it will fit the room
  3. That Epi, is it bolt-on neck? Or neck-thru body?
  4. oh my goodness what a wonderful firearm
  5. Baltimore to Polaris every day for 4 years. How do I do it? Temporarily forget everything I was ever taught about civilized society and safe driving. And never take 33 unless it's the middle of the night.
  6. Not to worry... As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure what you call this style of scope ring, or where to get them anymore. Was kind of hoping that someone more knowledgeable would chime in I set up this rifle half a lifetime ago when I was a teenager. I guess that means these "old style" rings work okay on a 22LR, since it's held zero so well. Anyways, congrats on the rifle. They're great shooters!
  7. It doesn't have the 'scope rails'? This is my Savage mkII w/ cheap bushnell 9x40 http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/sciotopc/savage_zpsqhbuiyfz.jpg
  8. Speaking for my experience with a few GMT800 trucks (99-06 Chevy/GMC), just pick one up for $4k and buy a spare: - Fuel pump - Belt/idler pulley - Turn signal switch - Brake lines
  9. I've got a like new w/box, OD Green Ruger SR9 (striker) + cash but, alas, it is full-size and has a safety...
  10. So much truth and knowledge ITT. Inkjet is the biggest scam since crude oil pricing. I've had a Laserjet 4L for the last 20 years and it still prints like a boss.
  11. Nah, it's just that I used to live in Virginia. Living in Columbus, I don't get out to the edges of the state very often (where I presume it's worse). Some of the stuff I've done here to earn a 2point violation... would be jail time in other states... :ninja:

    Skydiving

AFF is the way to go for sure. I could see exiting the plane the first time as a first jump being tricky, just pay attention on everything
  13. Buckeye Lake as a town would be a loss But don't forget the fine establishments of Thornville, like Papa Boo's and the Copper Penny.
  14. Absolutely interested... I built my only AR 10 years ago, and since then I've honestly forgot how. Just bought 2 new lowers
  15. HA! So my question has got to be: Did you/do you end up carrying it, or something else instead? I feel good about training myself to follow up somewhat well with it, that part I can deal with. But I don't want it to end up just another thing that gets left in the safe every day...
  16. So true. I have shot one, even then it was a short session. I'll admit .38 was far more tolerable. What ever makes me want one must be the same thing that's keeping everyone from selling theirs, though!
  17. SPOT ON. And some executive dumps all their marketing budget on the Buick Lacrosse. That's how we'll make the 1980s happen all over again.
  18. And I absolutely meant to post this on the Back Counter. Edit: Thanks!
  19. I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for a (now discontinued) S&W 360PD or M&P 360. For those who don't know, they're both 357mag Scandium J-frame Revolvers w/ exposed hammers. For those who do know, don't try to talk me out of it but yes, I would probably be interested in an m&p340 or a 340pd too If you know of a shop in town that has one, that's great. If you happen to have one you'd like to part with, even better. Let me know! Thanks
  20. Science and whatnot http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/sciotopc/90071aec-7c71-43ee-a87d-9eb334bd62b1_zpsprqv2hfh.png
  21. Man that is a badass bike and a good deal. Sucks. I can't comfortably ride a 58cm bike, which makes sense because IIRC you're about a foot taller than me. GLWS, somebody needs to pick this up.
  22. What do you listen to? Personally, I'm partial to component 6.5"s up front, no rear fill, and a slim 10".
