  1. I should be out this weekend.

    New Rims

Very nice. I like the 99-01 Cobra wheels.
  3. That's just crazy. graemlins/eek2.gif
  4. You guys are pretty hard on the SRT4's. They launch better than you would expect for a FWD car and can be made pretty damn quick. Now you probably wouldn't have caught John Wayne driving one but I certainly wouldn't call them gay.
  5. Very funny and true. graemlins/lol.gif

    OMG,

    I'm guessing 507RWHP and 645 RWTQ with a 150 shot on an 01 Z6.
  7. From a Cavalier to a C6. Nice upgrade man. graemlins/thumb.gif
  8. You have my sympathy. It's really tough to see your dog suffer. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
  9. You didn't go to the darkside, you came from it. Now your enlightened.
  10. I hope your not referring to this thread. I wasn't making excuses for that guy. I was just pointing out some facts for those wondering why the guy got pulled so hard. Everyone thinks the Evo was running 30PSI and he wasn't. The KB Cobra was running the stock clutch which cannot handle 600RWHP and I don't think anyone can argue how slow the guy shifted. There was almost half a second between shifts. I also tell you that even if he did have a new clutch and shifted much faster he still would have lost. The race would have been closer to what the first Cobra did.
  11. The guy with the KB Cobra is still running his stock clutch and he shifts like my grandmother. The Evo is making closer to 650whp. He makes slightly over 600 at 30PSI and he was running 33PSI in the vid. and remember that an Evo is about 300lbs lighter than a Cobra.
  12. Thanks guys. I can't wait to get this thing done. I was really hoping to have it done before the Good Guys come to town but it's not going to happen. I want it done right so I'll have to be patient. I'm looking forward to car shows, nostalgic drag races ... etc. smile.gif Oh and the reason I said largest disp. ever put into a muscle car is that I don't consider Cadillac's, Mark Iv's or Ranchero's muscle cars. I consider intermediate bodied cars with large engines muscle cars. smile.gif
  13. For those who have never seen one. The finished product. http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/engine2.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/exterior.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/dash2.jpg [ 26. April 2005, 08:41 PM: Message edited by: Eatonup ]
  14. It is pretty cool how they got around the GM big wigs. For years they thought the engines were installed at Demmer's foundry when in fact they were installed right on the assembly line at GM. It should be painted in the next couple of months. When it's driveable we'll get together. smile.gif
  15. Bingo! 68 Hurst/Olds. You know your cars! I thought it would take a little longer.
  16. It is an Olds and it is 455 powered. Hint #2 There are only about 100 of these known to exist.
  17. You guys are very warm. Hint: Largest disp. engine ever put in a muscle car.
  18. Let's see who can guess what my project car is. See if you can guess from the following pics. http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/h%20001.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/h%20002.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/cobrapics/h%20004.jpg I'll give some hints if no one is close.
  19. We've got about 1 1/2 inches of snow on the ground outside Sunbury.
  20. Congrats on the car Sam. I like the color choice as well.
  21. Yeah, but I got Shawn covered with Linn, Big Poppa's car may never be finished, Matt's wife won't let him out of the house, and the other Matt will be too drunk to drive. That just leaves you, playa. </font>graemlins/lol.gif I might be able to talk her into letting me out one of these weekends. Don't worry Kurt, we have them covered.
  22. It's not that expensive at Alum if you get into the lottery draw for a slip. They do it once a year and I think it's around $450 for the season. However as Tenzig pointed out there are a lot of people applying for the limited slips available.
